Help me re-style DH!

DH has lost his style mojo and dresses like a male frump. He used to be quite dapper.

He is 44, slim built with bit of a gut, medium height, dark hair, olive skin and of course devastatingly handsome imho Wink

His personal style used to be kinda urban preppy with an edge - think a pea jacket sort of look. Men's fashion doesn't seem to have the same extensive vocab as women's!

Now he mostly wears baggy trackies, baggy jeans or baggy chinos if making an effort. For an evening out, he has a couple of nice shirts but the trousers just look so out of date.

He is wary of close-fitting trousers as he says they crush his man-parts and has a hangup about this legs but I do think the trousers are his weakest link. And omg, the shoes, awful old plasticky trainers.

Oh and he hates shopping. Naturally.

Any tips on where to find him some decent gear, or easy tips to follow to bring him up to date?

He doesn't know that I'm posting this, obv, and I shan't tell him, just quietly integrate any top tips into his wardrobe! TIA

One more thing. He will only ever wear navy, white, black or grey. Anything else is for girls, apparently.

Gap is a failsafe for mens fashion. Loads of separates that go together and look preppy but not too fussy.
They're not majorly expensive but wear well. I'd steer clear of their 'fashion' pieces as they're normally a bit wahoo and not in a good way.
He needs to add some neutral colours and maybe some blue shades so not to look like a newspaper.

What about asos? If you filter through the hipster gear you can get some quite nice stuff.

And no shopping involved.
