I need help.
I hate most of the clothes here in Australia. The range is small. The costs are insane. It's the same style in every shop and the clothing range for the 30-40 year olds is nanna style or horribly expensive.
I used to shop a lot at monsoon, M&S, boden, DP, wallis, fat face etc when I was living in England (I was also a lot fatter then too).
Ive bought some things from boden and DP online but I really need some new places to shop at.
Any ideas?

White Stuff? H&M?

Is it worth becoming a serious eBay shopper?

Not sure that's much help but do sympathise!

This really worries me as I am moving to Australia in a couple of years! Have you asked any other women over there where they get their clothes? Where are you - I remember Melbourne had good range of clothes shops. In terms of cost I think you just have to accept that things are more expensive there generally.
For internet shopping ASOS delivers everywhere (though their customer service is not great) and M&S do free delivery on international orders over £100 fairly regularly.

I would have thought with gap, Cos, Uniqlo, H&M, and Zara opening in Australia you'd have plenty of choice? There is also online like shopbop, asos.

Monsoon also deliver cheap/free to australia. As liberty says M&S often have free delivery to Australia.

Like anything though some things will be cheaper and some more expensive. Last trip to Oz I bought 2 pairs of designer jeans cheaper than here in the UK.

My DB lives in Brisbane and when he and SIL come over to England they bring empty suitcases and shop shop shop. SIL is always moaning about the rubbish clothes in Australia.

(so no help, but a bit of sympathy Grin ).

Thanks for all the ideas and sympathy.

I'm here too, and I can't help. I used to shop at Portmans quite a lot, but they've gone awful in the last couple of years. Jigsaw good but horrendously expensive. David Lawrence, but only for work sorts of clothes. Basically I don't know either!

Witchery?

My sister just moved back and is looking to order online and have things shipped, but there is Zara. She says that there are gorgeous clothes, but that they are v v expensive (eg Scanlan & Theodore), unlike in the UK where we have affordable high st options.

There is Country Road, but it's a bit dull sometimes. Marcs is great, but sometimes ££. Cotton On is good for basics.

There's a new brand that is like Trebuchet or Trelawney, how about that one?
