Breastfeeding and weddings/christenings - top and skirt combo better than a dress?

Totally clueless when it comes to style and dressing nicely.

If I wear this top in dark blue, what skirt, jacket and shoes?

The only dress I've found that I quite like is this one, but again I wouldn't know what jacket or shoes really.

I'm 5 ft 2 and about a size 10 I think, but with a mummy tummy still. I don't want to spend a fortune, but I wouldn't mind splashing out a bit if I could wear the separates again. I usually live in jeans and T-shirts.

Please help!

I have that top! I'm no longer breastfeeding and still wear it! I'd probably put it with a white skirt and brown or red shoes for a christening. Perhaps this skirt: www.gap.co.uk/browse/product.do?cid=57384&vid=1&pid=000942279001&tid=guaf3640522&ap=2&sem=true I'm not great with separates for formal occasions though…

The dress is nice too, but have you looked for non-breastfeeding ones? A normal wrap dress works well, or a jersey one with quite a deep neckline - I quite like this one: www.joules.com/Women/Dresses/Marilyn/Womens-Jersey-Dress/Indigo-Seagull?id=Q_MARILYN|INDGUL
If you can find a little cropped vest top you can wear that underneath, then pull dress down and vest up to get a boob out with minimal flesh on show.

I like the dress a lot; thanks for that! The shape of the skirt is good, too. What about jackets?

Hmm, I'm not good with jackets I'm afraid as they don't tend to suit my shape, but I've seen a couple of nice drapey ones in New Look recently. Maybe a loosely structured blazer in a light colour. But actually, I'd probably wear a really nice cardigan if it were me, but that's more because they suit me better.
