Was looking at kipling bags as I've heard they are fantastic quality, and I'm in need of a good bag, but the look of them is putting me off slightly. I can't tell whether I like or loathe them. Whats your opinion, are they lovely stylish bags, or just functional ones that you love for their usefulness.

I love mine. I don't give a fuck what anyone else thinks.

I've got a couple of the handbags, a great one for work and a rucksack one I use constantly at the mo as I can get all of my DS's stuff in it when we go out. And yes, you can stick them through the machine at 40 degrees no problem.

Stylish...no, practical...yes. Do I care...no and yes I leave the monkeys on too.

I have the Kipling Sevrine bag and it is great. I have not removed the monkey!

www.amazon.co.uk/Kipling-Womens-Sevrine-Backpack-Handbag/dp/B00EQ1RJ2Q - I have it in Celo Grey

I thought I was reasonably stylish and own and love several kipling bags- maybe I was wrong! They really do make fab work bags though!

WildBill I can't be arsed writing out your post about shopping channels and people so overweight but I buy them because I'm a vegetarian and I care that some animal hasn't lost the skin off it's back to give me a fucking handbag.

(Not all Kiplings are non-leather but I make sure mine are)

I agree very useful, not very stylish. I have a backpack I keep going back to because it fits so much for a day out with kids.

Does anyone know if you can dye them? I was given a really bright one which could possibly be made more wearable.

I have a holdall that I take on holiday/weekends away. I love the monkey! It's called Augusto.
dd has a rucksack for school-pockets everywhere great for helping her organise her stuff.
