I love the material but not sure of the style. I'm not sure what the fuss us about Cara either but that's another thread

I laughed at myself from the rehearsal pictures as I thought "hope he gets his hair cut before the day". Sounded like my mam!

Don't like the wedding dress at all.

Why is Cara a supermodel? She looks short and has a huge tattoo on the nape of her neck.

I don't really understand the Cara hype either.

If my suster had looked that miserable all the way through my wedding I would have punched her!

This marriage won't last unless the bride is happy to look the other way a lot. However as somebody who has spent the last year indulging in a multiplicity of hen do's and being photographed in fifteen outfits a day without apparently doing anything else in her life, I suspect Poppy is not the deepest of thinkers.

Maybe Cara has a reason to not be happy about this wedding.

That VB dress even makes VB look fat. Its awful.

Not keen on Caras dress, ok I guess. However her eye makeup is more suitable to a serious night out clubbing. Tone it down for a daytime wedding surely?

Poppy looks stunning. I actually like the sheer material element.

Cara's dress doesn't do it for me but the shoes are great.

I am clearly in a very small minority when I say that I really dig the VB dress. On willow-thin Victoria, that is. It isn't suitable as maternity wear for a scorching May wedding. Poor woman must've been suffering (36 weeks pregnant here and the pictures made me wince in sympathy).

The bottom half of the dress is detachable. Theywent to Chiltern Firehouser afterwards with her wearing just the top half.

The make up was trowelled on- orange. Probably because Porter Mag is covering the wedding and so they needed shoot range make up.

I liked the wedding dress, I would've worn it, not Cara's as much. Thought it was bit ghost off the peg. Agree with pp who said geri's looks like it would fall down any minute and that Cara's makeup more suited for night out. And I don't think she lids nice in a single photo. The stress looks better than her! (Cara not poppy. Poppy looks radiant)

Not very keen on the wedding dress, the top half is quite nice but the bottom looks stupid.

I think Cara looks terrible, hungover, moody in a shapeless dress with clumpy shoes and the tattoo just makes her look common. IVe never really understood the hype around her you can see better looking gils on any high street.

Cara is very striking-looking - models aren't supposed to be 'pretty' per se. Her face is interesting, that's why she's wanted as a model.

Poppy is pretty, Cara is striking/interesting-looking. I can see why Cara's career took over Poppy's - Poppy is very pretty but too ordinary-looking for modelling. She makes a radiant bride though.

Agree that Geri's dress is too long but that shade of pink looks great on her.

I love the flow and movement to Cara's dress and quite like the contrast of the more clumpy shoes.

Absolutely agree that models aren't supposed to be pretty Myrtle. That's a common mistake people make when they look at a model's face.

Cara has that quirky / FUGLY / Baby faced look that they all go for. Plus fashion does love a society model. Agences are generally pretty lazy about scouting and these girls with their pre existing connections make it easier for them.

However the fashion and media pond is getting so incestuous and ever decreasing that things will need to change soon. It is getting boring.

I agree that models aren't supposed to be pretty, but certainly photogenic. She looks bored, slouchy, not even striking in these pictures, but maybe they caught her off pose. She does, however, make the dress look good, which is the main point of modelling I suppose.

I love Poppy's dress, the fabric is amazing. Looks beautiful in today's photos at the shorter length too.

I think Cara has a stunning face and I rather like the wedding dress. Love Geri's hair and she looks so much better with soft make up, rather than the trowelled on stuff she sported in her younger days in the SG.

The groom looks like he should pay tennis for Sweden in the '70s.

Dress is v cool but I would prefer it without the floaty long bit (or as someone else said, longer but the same all the way down).

Love Cara's dress, v sophisticated but I would have held back a bit on the slap! It's daytime! Geri looks fab - that colour is amazing on her and I love the dressed-down hair.
