where to find comfy ballet flats (i.e. with slightly padded sole or similar)

Saw the sun today and flung on my trusty Topshop ballet flats, but really they aren't any good for proper walking. Zero support - like walking in bare foot on the pavement. Wonder if anyone does (nice) ones that are slightly more comfy if you want to walk any distance in them. Maybe squashy insole or something? But don't want them to look like worthy orthopaedic shoe if you know what I mean…… Anyone know if these things exist??

:-)

PS not sure of your colour preference but Yoox have some pink ones for £89...

They are the colour I liked Twirly, thanks for the tips!

I have a pair of Bloch and they are really not supportive/padded or whatever. They do look good though and were a tkmaxx bargain

Hi

Just tried these on today In clarks. www.clarks.co.uk/p/20358872
They do them in different fabric and colour.
Bit of cushioning on sole felt ok to me and I do suffer!

They were on the big side for me sz 4 and don't do 3 !!!!

Mini05 · 15/05/2014 16:57

Just looked on line and they do do 3 !!!!

These are incredible. I have them in black and have worn them to death. The elastic means you don't have to grip the soles with your toes as you do with some ballet flats

getyourselfchecked · 15/05/2014 20:33

Or these. Not as comfy as the Camper but lovely slightly-padded insole Bit expensive though. Ouch

Pretty ballerinas are v.comfortable.

Also, don't know why Clarks has such a fuddy duddy image - they do great shoes.

Sunnyfeet · 15/05/2014 22:30

I've just looked at the Banana Republic ballet flats, is there one particular style that people would recommend, as they do quite a few flats?

Sunnyfeet · 15/05/2014 22:39

Sorry, one more question: are Bloch ballerinas soft around the heel/back of the foot, don't want blisters!

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 16/05/2014 02:04

I just bought Allegra, which is similar to Carlie. I already have Ashley.

JenniMoo · 16/05/2014 06:20

These probably look too much like old lady shoes, but they are really comfortable, and they change the colours a couple of times a year. I have brown ones and can wear them and walk for miles, despite my fussy feet and the fact I need orthotic insoles.
