I have very fine hair and took the advice of a 70 year old hairdresser. What a result!

He said forget conditioner and just use baby shampoo. I did. My hair is shiny, sleek and bouncy!

For years I have fallen for the shampoo/conditioner combo it just weighed my fine hair down.

Try it if you have fine hair for a week or two. A blob of shampoo the size of a 10p coin.

I never use conditioner on my fine, straight hair but I did discover the most amazing thickening shampoo the other day.

Was at inlaws and didn't have any shampoo with me. Used mil's Wash & Go - yes that cheap old stuff you can get in £1 shops - and hair was honestly noticeably fuller and better behaved afterwards.

Will buy myself some once I have got through my current bottle of Aussie Miracle shampoo.

Also stopped using conditioner a few weeks ago. Hair us much better for it. I use silicone free shampoo and then detangle with a wide tooth comb.
I am deep conditioning every now and again.
Aussie Mega shampoo is silicone free.
