mid-calf v difficult IME but that may just be my calves.

good strappy and strapless princess- and empire-lines in Monsoon, also lots this shape which are almost universally flattering - saw women of every age and shape in the dotty version at Henley and all looked super.

SherlockLGJ · 27/08/2006 17:41

Can you tell I am panicking ??

Christmas no 32

SherlockLGJ · 27/08/2006 17:44

I love the black and gold one, but I am blonde, would it work.?

It is also for an October wedding.

Ceremony in the afternoon, Champagne and canapes, then retire to our rooms to change for dinner, very select wedding in that the bride and groom have a huge circle of friends and only 10 couples have been invited.

Some serious money flying in from the US.

MrsBadger · 27/08/2006 18:23

Don't panic, british class trumps american money every time
understated and subtle is the way to go

harpsichordcarrier · 27/08/2006 19:31

I threw away lots of black bootleg trousers
some stretchy print long sleeve tops
a few long length skirts (calf length)
some big baggy tops I was keeping in case I get pregnant again
not gonna happen
some cheap stuff in big sizes from postnatal fat period
not much left
