Whatever I do I look like I've just finished a workout - red hot looking face. I use foundation and powder but still it doesn't lose it's over- red look. It's especially bad on my cheeks (I often look like I'm badly blushing). I have very sensitive skin and I'm not very good with make up/reapplying etc. Can anyone recommend anything which might work? I have no idea where to start or what to get Thanks

Op id go to the doctors to be honest to see if its actually rosacea, If its diagnosed there are tablets you can take hwich have had amazing results for people.

If not at least you know you can hide it effectively, Ive suffered with flushing/redness since i was a child. I missed out ona lot of my teen years as I was so embarrased about being so red all the time.

Im now 34 and I asked on here a few months ago and someone mentioned the clinique range. Honestly its amazing, i didnt hold out much hope to be honest as id tried so many things, but i now use the moisturiser and the foundation. I agree it is thick but i spread it out with a real techniques brush and the difference is amazing. I wish id found it years ago. Ive tried the green primers too and havent found one that makes me look normal skin colour, they all seem to make me look white or yellow.

Maybe go to the dr first and if you have no joy head over the the clinique counter and ask to try the redness solutions range. good luck.

How does the clinique compare to Revlon colour stay, do you know?

That's interesting redroom . I've tried Liz Earle cleanse and polish but it was too strong for my skin. I use Dr hauskha mainly and am using a Niels Yard Moisturiser at the minute.

I looked up the Clinique anti redness stuff and it looks good but sooooo expensive

I've recent ditched cleanse and Polish after years,I use micellar water now and its fab. Looking back it was far to strong for my skin.

Smashbox colour corrective primer is great, I alternate between the peach and the green depending on which way my skin is playing up at the time.
