Sick of eyelash curlers, NOT curling my eyelashes. Recommendations please.

Just that really...

I have Tweezerman ones atm and they're ok I guess, but I have to squeeze them on to my eyelashes about 3 times before the curl actually holds and it's just bloody annoying! Even then it doesn't hold all day. Am I doing something wrong?

Doesn't make a difference what mascara I use either. Tbf to eyelash curlers, I do have awkward eyelashes. They naturally point downwards and are different lengths, but it would be great to find a pair of curlers that I don't need to keep using throughout the day.

I know there are bigger things to worry about Grin but would be great to get a good recommendation.

Thanks ladies Smile

Sorry However you spell the second bit.

I had the Le Métier ones and they were lovely for about 2 months but the rubber cushion is so soft that it splits and ruins to easily quickly and that's that. A £20 curler ruined in 4mo because you've used the pads that come with and they don't sell spares. The Shu pads are much more robust and the Shiseido pads fit (Shu don't sell replacements).

Sorry for typos in my posts. I'vegot a hangover and a migraine. I've no idea wtf I'm on here

I have the Shu curlers and had a cheap plastic type from a local pharmacy. I preferred the cheap plastic one tbh. Sadly I lost them but I'm always on the look out for a similar type. Clunky plastic. No metal at all.
I think Shu are made for an oriental shaped eye.

breaking, I've had my drugs and loads of water (can't stand coke/fizzy stuff). I'm just wallowing in self pity now Grin

Ninety, I'm with you on coke normally. However, when I'm hungover, it really does work. That and a big carby, greasy breakfast/brunch. I'm ashamed to say this, but actually the best thing is a breakfast wrap from a rather popular fast food burger restaurant Blush
