Any good?

NO! Made my hair all crispy and dry, I was disappointed.

MikeLitoris · 28/04/2014 20:30

I was wondering about this.

I need something that will tame my frizz while abroad next month.

Any other suggestions?

Skivvywoman · 28/04/2014 20:31

It's fantastic and lasts a bit longer than the 7 days

Mrsap · 28/04/2014 21:22

I love it. Went out in a downpour today and hair did curl up but critically did not frizz and stayed smooth.

Velocirapture · 28/04/2014 21:46

Better than nothing but not great.

breakingtradition · 29/04/2014 10:37

OP if you want something that actually works, you'll need something stronger, if you've got a real frizz problem.

I use Brazilian hair straightening from keratin kits. You can get it on Amazon. It's more of a smoothing that straightening tbf, which is more what I wanted. If you've got fine, greasy hair, don't use it though. It's essentially constantly moisturising your hair, so you can imagine that if you have greasy hair, it's not going to do you any favours.

It's a bit time consuming initially, but after that, it can last up to 6 months and I don't even need to blow dry my hair now. It used to take an hour to blow dry and straighten my hair, so it was a bit of a god send for me.

I like it, however if you want smooth silky shiney straight hair then go with the Brazilian kit off amazon. There are loads of threads about it and read the reviws on amazon. I love it, just can't be faffed doing it very often, lasts about 3 months for me.

Dogownerwithoutacluebuttrying · 29/04/2014 16:27

Does that kit contain formaldehyde?

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 29/04/2014 18:19

apparently not, but its quite pungent. Not suitable if pregnant.

NingShahirah · 05/07/2014 21:53

Is it suitable while nursing?

PartTimePunk · 06/07/2014 09:05

I had a mixed result with the Tresemme. It made my hair smoother and stopped it frizzing up in drizzle. But it also made my hair quite lank and greasy. I'm going to keep using it but every few weeks, rather than every 7 days.

carrielou2007 · 06/07/2014 09:39

I've found it a great alternative to Brazilian kit. I first used Brazilian stuff when dc3 was 4 weeks old and was ebf found the difference amazing and really helped in mornings with non-sleeping feeding in me all night baby and trying to get two other dc out to school and preschool. Have done it several times (dc3 is now 13 months) just finding the time to be able to do it/not having work as hair looks awful whilst waiting the three days before you can wash it! Waiting for next school Hols to do it again so using treseme until then. Best of this type of product i'vefound for my bush-head super thick unruly hair!!

Dancingwiththedrummer · 06/07/2014 16:25

Made my hair crispy and didn't last one wash nevermind 3 total pants! I preferred the vo5 smoothly does it tbh

QueenofLouisiana · 06/07/2014 17:50

I like it. If I only wash with the recommended shampoo it lasts a whole week, but I only wash my hair twice in between treatments.

woolypigs · 06/07/2014 18:09

I have very thick hair with a kink, while my hair looks nicer when I straighten it when using this product it does nothing for my hair long term. Straightened hair one day then got caught out in a shower and it was like I had never used it. I am using it until finished but won't be buying again.

mrgarybarlow · 06/07/2014 18:27

I use Frizz ease 3 day straight and absolutely love it. It never frizzes in the rain and makes it really smooth
