Pippa M - what on earth is she wearing?

I don't normally comment on other peoples dress sense (I am lacking my own!), but I have just seen some pics of Pippa Middleton in the Daily Fail and she looks terrible! I can't link as on my phone....

She is young but is dressing so old for her time and in some hideous dress coat. No idea what the actual dress underneath is like...... Why does she do this??

Neither sisters should wear hats EVER imo.

I'm going to defend her here. Its obviously a dressy coat for the ceremony, I would put money on her having a fab dress on underneath. Its quite difficult to find the right thing to wear to a wedding when its colder and I despise the pashmina, fur shrug over a dress look. I've had a similar dress coat made in gunmetal grey for over a dress.

I assumed it was a coat too.

Nothing wrong with a dressy coat but it has to fit. This one is dowdy and frumpy.

And it still doesn't look great, but I wonder what the dress is like.

She's not regal though is she? She's the sister of a woman who happened to marry a royal man. Surely she could dress however she liked, since she is Not Royal?

She could dress however she wanted. But she's probably only too happy to perpetuate the dress code now she moves in those 'sets'.

Her face is very old-looking. She looks older than her mother.

I always think Pippa has a bit of a look of Wallis Simpson.

It looks like it was home made by someone not used to shiny fabric. It's all puckered, the bottom doesn't hang right and the darts on the boobs are just awful.

Whole thing looks like it was made, or at least altered, in a tearing hurry.

Im going to a wedding soon.

Cant imagine if I had to read stories in paper and threads like this with people ripping into my choice of outfit and whether my face was wrinkly

I usually try not to be critical of people wear but oh my goodness she looks dreadful.
I think her mum looks great.

She always looks so flinty and hard looking, like the type who would be involved in a bar brawl because somebody looked at her or her man in the wrong way. She really needs to stop with the eyeliner on the lower lids as it's terribly ageing for her.

She's got a boob on her head.

Bonsoir, my first thought was "pregnant" too - or she has a fabulous dress underneath and just got 'the matching coat' without thinking how much attention would be paid to the coat. I suppose it could have been a lovely day and the coat would have been undone/taken off, but still, not flattering.

(The darts give an optical illusion of saggy boobs as well)

I'm more curious as to why, in the bottom photo where they're all young and relaxed at school, is the bloke on the right wearing a tuxedo and bow tie? Did he get a different invitation?

I was more concerned with the faux sailor hat in the background of the first pic.

HoobleDooble - the bow tie so it doesn't get in the food, it was a cooking school.

Good grief - I have found myself in complete agreement with a Daily Fail commentator...

Oh actually, looking again, on the last photo she's got her cluch bag held tightly to her so it's pulling the coat in, so not a bump under there...
