Hats and fascinators for pixie short hair

We are going to a wedding this summer which will be a morning suits and hats type affair.

I have pixie short hair and already have a dress to wear :) as found by MN months ago
And hot pink heels and wrap.

I have never worn a hat or fascinator to a wedding before so am utterly clueless, but I do quite fancy one!

Can you advise me about what shapes/ styles etc work with short hair?

It's not a great photo but this is mine , the feathers are white and so is the metal band. The adornment sits to the side of my head .

I like the feathers and have found a few similar style to the peacock one but not 'unlucky' peacock feathers.
I am a bit unsure about them as worried thy I might look like I have pink hair in the wedding pics as they sit so close to your head and my hair is v short.

I have now got some from my dsis to try - they won't be the right colour but I might have an idea about shapes that work/ not I guess.

I don't have time to read the whole thread but I was in an 'Anthropologie' store the other day and browsing the trinkets and a girl with a pixie cut was trying on a simple dove grey feathered headband, it looked gorgeous, really chic and modern. I saw it in one or two other colours too. May be worth looking online?

Yes that's it however the grey was paler in real life and the one they call 'cream' was pale ballet blush/pink. It is also a bit more delicate the picture suggests.

I think i have narrowed it down to two
Number 1 - can be made in different colours to match my outfit
Number 2 - matches already

Similar price, both on a hairband so will e secure in my short hair.

Any thoughts? :)

I really like that anthropologie headband it's so pretty.

Not so sure about the ones you have pictured, they look a bit 'old' to me. my dm wore something similar to my db's wedding
