a pair of bootcut jeans. Dark blue denim, highish waist, nice length and very comfortable.

And I love them.

Well at least DD1 will look fashionable. I've given her my nice Gap bootcuts having final admitted they are too too tight.

I'll join the bootcut revolution, my recent experiences with skinny jeans have even awful and I'm getting to the point where I don't care how out-dated I look, I just don't want to look like I have lumpy parsnips for legs!

The thing is I have a couple of pairs of skinnies but I always felt a little uncomfortable in them. I always tried to cover my giant arse with long tops and I also had to worry about the whole ankle area thing. Now spring is here I am sick of wearing the same pair of boots endlessly.

Bootcuts work with trainers, pumps, ballet flats, make my legs look less akin to a tree trunks and as I am sat here typing I can't help thinking how comfy I feel.

With a fairly on-trend top half I think they look great.

They haven't thrown off The Frump enough to wear them with something plain.

My big round arse has been hanging out (not literally) for the return of bootcut.

I look more like Miranda Hart than Miranda Kerr in mine!

Bootcuts are the only jeans which can be worn with any footwear at all.

Skinnies are very restrictive on that front.

I wear my skinnies with any footwear, ballet flats, ankle boots, knee highs, wellies, sandals ... Why not?

But skinnies don't look good with trainers

Boot cuts are coming back in...don't think they've ever really gone out.....it's all about how you wear them but I'd look a frump if I wore them, god I miss them, they really were the most flattering jeans

Everyone seems to still wear skinnies, bug they must be on their way out now?!

I've hung onto my boot cut jeans and wore them the other week as I was feeling rebellious. They are very flattering and more to the point really comfy I know that's not a fashion forward thing to say but it was quite nice to wear something other than skinnies.
