I agree. Dont take it back if you like it. People were commenting about whether they like it or not...not about age! Why do we have to always judge people by their age.

I am with the people who say you can wear just about anything as long as you style it right for yourself.

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 19/04/2014 13:10

I agree with that totally - and, yes, there are ways to style it, as other pps have suggested. I just like to buy clothes that go with a lot of my existing wardrobe, and wouldn't biy something that only looked good styled in a particular way yes I'm boring.

Onesleeptillwembley · 19/04/2014 13:13

Oh dear. That's hideous. Agree with pp who said it'd only work if you're a jockey. That really is one ugly piece of clothing.

BecauseImWoeufIt · 19/04/2014 13:19

I can't bear this kind of thing.

If you like it, if you can afford it, if it fits you, and it works with your wardrobe, then your age has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Floisme · 19/04/2014 16:42

I'm not keen on it with those jeans but, as others have said, you could style it in different ways. It's quite sporty/tomboy-ish so you could go for contrast and wear it with something elegant or a bit girly. I think people have already made some good suggestions. I also think that, if the proportions are right, it would work over a plain black (or white) sleeveless dress - as a cover up but a bit more modern than a shrug.

Sunnydaysablazeinhope · 19/04/2014 16:44

It's beautiful . I'd love to wear that and I'm 37

diddlediddledumpling · 19/04/2014 16:47

It's brill! Please don't take it back if you like it. As long as the rest of your wardrobe isn't all Per Una, then you can absolutely wear it, regardless of your age.
I have a friend in her mid-forties who wears that kind of thing, and she always looks fantastic.

Bagpussss · 19/04/2014 16:59

I'm 43 and would wear it, was looking at something similar in Hollister :)

Snog · 19/04/2014 18:47

I really like it and think it could work well at any age with a minimalist style outfit or sportswear. Hate the jeans though!
