Sticky out eyebrow hairs!

The inner edges of my eyebrow are growing back after being over plucked. I was resisting plucking well until a couple of hairs got really long and are sticking straight out!
I even tried gelling one down with DHs super strong hair gel, sticking a sticker over it for half an hour to keep it down, it lasted about a minute...
How do I train them not to stick out?

Use a small eyebrow brush, lightly spray it with hairspray then brush your eyebrow, smoothing the hairs down. Repeat for other eyebrow.

Avon do a eyebrow kit that includes a wax to keep hairs in place. Can't vouch for it though because I've never used it.

If it is really long you can trim to a more standard length

I have the elf eyebrow kit and that wax did nothing, hence trying super hold brylcrem. I think if I trim it I'll have to keep doing it as it'll continue to grow outwards. I'm tempted to stick a sticker on over night every night...

I have the same problem jennymoo! I'm trying the benefit brow mascara and seems to help weighing it down. Might try your plaster idea lol.

A lady who used to shape my eyebrows told me to put my face cream over my brows every night as it softens the hairs. I imagine like a hair conditioner. I never tried it myself though as have sensitive eyes and was concerned the cream would run down into my eyes. She always said that it worked with loads of her clients.

I am growing back overplucked eyebrows too and lots of them are growing in white - not happy!

Skinheadmermaid · 11/04/2014 17:39

I wrestle my monobrow into submission with lots of vasaline.
Some unfortunately just grow out and i trim those.
I'm baffled by the current trend for big eyebrows, i've spent years trying to look less like i have a couple of hairy slugs perched on my face!

My SIL who trained to be a beauty therapist many years ago, when she did my eyebrows once got a fine comb, combed through and trimmed the ones that were over long and stuck out through the comb.

JenniMoo · 11/04/2014 20:51

Thanks for the ideas, I shall try some of those. If it was am

Amongst other eyebrows if just trim it but it's the biggest, darkest and thickest surrounded by a few wispy ones, and sticking right out... There are 2 on the other side looking like they're going to do the same too.
I'm going to a wedding in 2 weeks and wish they weren't going to look quite do awful...

Pluck it? Surely one hair plucked won't be noticeable.

JenniMoo · 12/04/2014 06:52

I think it's likely it won't be just the one, I think lots of them look likely to do it. I smothered on moisturiser last night and will try hairspray and (if that doesn't work) Vaseline today. Otherwise I'll start using DDs reward chart stickers at night :)

Threading is very good once you get used to it.

JenniMoo · 12/04/2014 07:35

I've been having them threaded, but fairly infrequently. I plan on getting them threaded next week so hopefully that will make them look a little better. I've just got to resist the tweezers...

Hairspray didn't help. If I applied lots of Vaseline it stayed down, but only for a minute or two!
