Please talk to me about them. I have some very cheap ones and they're crap.
I had thought about ghds as they seem to be the ones to have (I know nothing about such things) but thought I would have a search on mumsnet in case things have moved on.
It seems ghds are still good but so are corioliss? And I've seen a couple of other types mentioned too.
I would prefer not to have to spend £100 if I can help it but I don't want a false economy.
I have very very very thick just past shoulder length hair if that makes any difference.
Please help me, I'm not very good at this style and beauty thing.

I have some Babyliss ones, think they cost about £35, I only use them at weekends but they do a grand job and I have hair similar to yours by the sound of it.

Remingtons at £20 work fine for me - and nobody has bendier hair than I do.

don't use them every day.

Ghds are the best. However I have a pair of Nicky Clarke desireds. They are amazing. I have had ghds and though I would say they are better I would recommend desireds. They were half price in Argos when I bought them (as they regularly are) so cost me 40pounds so wasn't so bad. They are lovely.

Also a little tip if you do go for ghds look on lookfantastic.com. or if you live near Camden the hob academy do them for 79, so saves you a bit and they are official registered stockists so no knock offs :)
