For comfort, but hoiking my large but deflated boobs up? I'm 32E. Thinking a t-shirt type thing. Am still BFing DD, but she's 17 m old and I cannot stand the sight of my old, scabby nursing bras Sad

I love freya-nearly all my bras are freya (34/36h), but wanting to venture elsewhere as makes me twitchy when I'm too brand loyal ;)

I bought bras out of Asda while I was pregnant, I used to only buy expensive ones out of my local family owned department store, but when pregnant I bought cheap ones. I was so pleased with the quality I still buy them. I watched a documentary about Chinese factories and they factory owners were saying that all their bras have the meet the same standards of materials & stitching and the £5 bras you see in the supermarkets are the same quality as $50 bras they export to be sold in the USA, they are just styled slightly differently. My favourite is a lace trim balcony bra from Asda, they are comfortable, look great, give a good cleavage as well and only cost £6. It got top reviews recently in a magazine, can't remember which one, Grazia or something, it beat all the expensive brands hands down.

I used to wear the usual M&S bras, until I picked up some Victoria Secret sets while on a business trip to the US. They are BRILLIANT and I don't think I could go back...

The VS T-Shirt bra's without the underwire are brilliant!

Bravissimo are fantastic

Freya for fun. Prima Donna for comfort. Empreinte for helping my boobs to look younger than they are.

Don't touch Ann Summers, I recently bought a couple of bras from them and the straps snapped. Spent £55 on a corset and the bones came out of it after the second wear.

I don't actually think there is one best bra. It very much depends on the shape of your breasts - Freya for example make very good bras, but the cups are relatively wide so don't suit all breasts. Panache are good, but their cups are deeper and narrower, with tall wires.

First up though, are you sure about your size? If you've been fitted in most high street shops you're probably not in the best size for you and that will have a huge impact. If you can measure yourself according to this guide then we can help more.

Have you looked at Hot Milk? I only discovered them after more than a year of BFing DS2 but they were a revelation: pretty and in small bands/large cup sizes (think I was a 30DD at that stage). Pretty sure they do a tshirt/nursing bra.
Got mine from www.nursingbra-shop.co.uk and the service was really good with returns etc.
Good luck!
