how to get a makeover

I need a complete makeover. Hair, makeup and clothes.
Particularly for work.

I' m getting by with a quick twisted low bun and scrunchie done whilst my hair is wet (I have frizzy hair and a very sensitive scalp), light makeup (which doesn't hide my beard any more - see my other post) and my wardrobe needs a refresh.

I''ve found personal shoppers and make up lessons, but does anyone know how to get a complete overhaul?

Ask someone who's look you like! Pretty sure anyone would be flattered and delighted to take on a protege.Grin

House of colour? Would do make up and clothes, then just a good hairdressing session.

Do you follow any style blogs? Depending on your age and taste there's bound to be one you like. I'm 43 and I like Does my bum look 40 in this, although she does always wear pretty much exactly the same outfit in each shot! Grin
What I like is the fact that she picks out the trends that will suit my age group in a range of styles and prices. I've bought a few things that she's recommended to update my wardrobe.
Make up wise - go to a Bobbi Brown counter, they do a really pretty, natural look and they're not hard sell. If you're dark the Phillips Lumea is supposed to be excellent for hair removal. It's not cheap but is cost effective.
Hair - trawl online photos for styles you like and google your hair type to find products that will suit you.
