Hand Chemistry hand cream

Has anybody used Hand Chemistry. It's 27 euro so it would want to be great.
I am currently using Soap and Glory Heel Genius as a hand cream- it's really good.
I am also using Dr. Ceuticals Hand De Age handcream. Very disappointed with it. Not cheap. Same with Lanolips Intense handcream- useless.

I have - its average.

hollyisalovelyname · 07/04/2014 18:17

Ah Thank you Mrs. C-B... at that price I thought it might be worth investing in but not if it's only average.
Compares with ???

I've tried many from boots, body shop, clarins, cowshed - I find they're all ok for a while but then they stop working. However as the winter hasn't been so harsh my hands haven't got so dry.

pepperrabbit · 07/04/2014 18:26

I'm quite liking the Body Shop hemp one at the moment, but normally revert back to Clarins in the end.
I liked the smell but didn't really rate the Soap and Glory handcream - I shall try the heel cream instead Smile

I also use heel genius as a hand cream. It's brilliant.

hollyisalovelyname · 07/04/2014 19:16

The smell of Soap and Glory Heel Genius isn't great but the results are so worth it.

Hand Chemistry faded the age spots freckles on my hands. I quite like it.

hollyisalovelyname · 07/04/2014 19:25

Is it worth the investment?

Well I bought a second tube. But it's £18.99 on the Boots website in the UK. Not sure I would pay 27 Euros. Isn't that about £25?

hollyisalovelyname · 07/04/2014 19:46

It should be 23 euro but we in Ireland always have to pay a premium on goods from British retailers because of the Euro/ Sterling exchange. Unfortunately most add a lot extra on. I'm looking at you Monsoon
River Island
Debenhams
Marks and Spencer.
Often the price is in both euro and sterling but bear no relation to the exchange rate.
I know they have to cross the Irish Sea but so too do the goods going to Northern Ireland , so that argument doesn't work.
It's just extra profit for the retailers.

I have it and it's alright. But would I buy it again? I don't know that it's that good.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/04/2014 22:00

The best two I've used are Flexitol and Aveda Hand Relief. Clarins smells gorgeous but doesn't work so well. I liked Dr Ceuticals at first and then went off it. Now I use Flexitol most of the time with the little Aveda ones in my handbag.

lurkingaround · 07/04/2014 22:16

Aveda hand relief. Jeez I hate that name. Makes me cringe and snigger all at once.
I have Eliz Arden 8 hour hand cream. It's good, but the I find plain old Atrixo quite good too.

Wishiwashelenmirren · 07/04/2014 22:31

I have discovered boots derma care. Wonderful stuff, cheap as chips, light pleasant scent, rich enough for my battered hands but quickly absorbed.
Converted!

L'Occitane Shea butter hand cream is amazing. It has made a huge difference to my hands and nails.
