Make up to cover cuts/bruises please

I'm not sure you should put makeup over cuts, it might stop them healing? But I would think any decent concealer over bruises.

Just a bit of a tumble but I have just started a new job in the past 2 months and could do without drawing attention to myself!

I'm quite oily and my make up seems to slide off, I was wondering if there was anything with staying power out there

Arnica cream is great for bruising and then how about Estée Lauder double wear foundation. It gives a full coverage but tbh I'm not sure how you will completely hide bruising unless you use professional stage makeup.

I'm taking and using arnica but can tell the bruising is about to go mad (I bruise really badly).

I would use a primer first - smashbox do quite good ones but there are cheaper options available. no7 do a few. I think green might be better for the early stages when it's got a reddy/pinky/purply tinge, and then purplish one once the bruise turns green!

After that, I'd apply a heavy duty concealer before my foundation - I like benefit boiing but something fairly solid like that or the dermablend, touche eclat ain't gonna cut it! Once that's on and settled, I'd apply a fairly heavy foundation using the Real Techniques stippling brush.

Reason I'd do it this way; I can never find a concealer that matches foundation perfectly and the texture is never as good. If you have lots of bruises you'd end up with make up patches. But if you try to put foundation over the top using a normal brush or sponge you'll end up displacing the concealer. The stippling brush means that you press the foundation over the top, so the concealer will stay underneath. Foundation wise - doublewear, lancome 24H (my favourite), or something similar. BB cream is not going to work ;)

Perhaps you shouldn't run round Boots. You may have a spectacular tumble and come off worse! YY to Estée Lauder.

To reduce bruises,get flannel place in really hot water,press it against bruse 1-2min and then rolling massage
The heat draws blood to surface and massage disperses it

If you're in a client facing role,I'd call manager and explain,rather than let them see by looking

Just a bruised nose, bruises under eyes from bashing nose, cut and bruise on cheek and cuts bruises on one arm that would be noticeable.

I'm luckily not client facing now I've moved jobs so it's just the 600 other people in the same building I'll be trying to hide from!

Start the hot flannel treatment,press it firmly 2min and massage do it few times day
Massage will disperse blood and reduce appearance bruise

Will get out of bed and try that now and again in the morning, thank you again

Hi can anyone help? I came off my bike and have been left with facial bruising and cuts. I need to get back to work so I need makeup that will cover it up any suggestions please

Dermacoll really cheap extreme coverage foundation. Google it; it's like £7. Life changing.
