Hello

I would like some impartial opinions from the Mumsnet S&B gurus.

I am pregnant and am going to be attending a close friends birthday party. They are are having a Garden Party theme at her parents country house.

I have brought a few dress and would like some opinions.

We can't possibly say unless we know how big your bump will be.
The dresses you linked to have non stretch fabric and also appear to have trains-I'm not sure you'll cope with that if heavily pregnant.
I think the Paul and Joe maxi someone linked to is perfect-stretchy, cool, fine with flats or heels and fine with a bump. Glam it up with accessories if it's not bling enough for you.

Can you wear the McQueen you already have and just get new shoes and bag? Or do you want a new dress?

defineme · 21/03/2014 23:00

That's perfect Puddles - hope you enjoy the party.

Thanks Wips I have ordered that Biyan dress it is divine.

I think I was perhaps misleading with the thread title. The dresses have to be glamorous so not really traditional garden party. The invite from my friend states Glamorous Garden Party so I am just going glam.

Personally, I would not wear a strapless dress to a garden party..

Puddles1234 · 21/03/2014 23:11

No I want something new. I know that sounds ridiculous but I can't wear the same dress again.

So the McQueen dress is a nearly definite but any more suggestions are welcome.

I am not huge but I can't determine right now how big I will be IYKWIM.

I love the first one.

And obviously spend what you like on a dress if you have the funds to do so.....but do you really want to spend that much on a dress that you will only wear once as it won't fit you once your no longer pregnant?

ilovevenice · 21/03/2014 23:49

I was going to ask if you are Tamara Ecclestone but see that she's had her baby...!
