If you have toddlers what bag do you use?

I'm completely over using a changing bag now and feel like something new / different. I have no idea what to buy! I'm a SAHM so my lifestyle is playgroups, soft play, play dates, park, shopping, library etc. We are out am and pm. I think I need a rucksack or cross body so hands are free.

What are using? Hopefully I'll get some ideas Grin

No its no joke I am using a Birkin when I give birth. I know babys/toddlers are messy however I don't need to worry about ruining the bag.

Never give them banana Puddles. Wink

puddles I bottle fed my dd since she was 2 months old,you won't believe the amount of stuff babies require
i was given a Chloe changing bag as a gift, and used it alot the first year,it fit nicely in the stroller, and it washed nicely if anything spilled.

I have brought a Birkin as a specific changing bag. I will be using a separate handbag. Its large enough to fit everything into. I will be purchasing a personalised Goyard tote just in case I need anymore space.

puddles use zip lock bags for EVERYTHING!!

TheJumped · 20/03/2014 20:22

I have a ziplock bag for toddler stuff (couple of nappies, pack of wipes, a drink and a banana) and that either goes in bottom of buggy for park type trips while I have a small but swish cross body for my purse / keys / phone / lipstick. Days out I use my Mulberry Mitzy, which is a big crossbody, and the ziplock bag fits comfortably. I get ziplock bags from Amazon in various designs for about a fiver, they're fantastic, wouldn't go back to Cath Kidston - esque changing bags ever. When I had a newborn and bottle fed, an additional zip lock bag for a bottle and a muslin.

Fjallraven rucksacks are good kid bags and come in millions of colours. Scandi schoolkids' bag of choice but getting a bit popular with hipsters - hey ho. The popper straps also mean I can hang it off my buggy handle.

Thejumped - could you link to the ziplock bags from amazon. I'm not sure which ones you mean? Unless you're on your phone of course in which case you won't be able to link. I like that idea, sounds very organised.

This kind of thing. Easily fits a few nappies, a pack of wipes, a bottle or sippy cup and a banana.

sotiredfornow · 20/03/2014 21:00

Ahh fantastic, thank you so much. I will purchase :)
