Ive had botox in forehead and no one noticed. I wasnt frozen although I did find it difficult to raise eyebrows too far. Im going to have eyes done next. Id love fillers for mouth lines althoigh a bit apprehensive. Wouldnt have lips done as mine are quite full. I think potential for lips to go wrong and look silly is too great also

face lift is definitely a last resort and most definitely the one where if it goes wrong you could live to regret it.

Facial exercises pull the underlying muscles tighter naturally. Just like on the body. The face then looks lifted. Doesn't deepen the lines but smoothes them out. Loss of tissue volume is associated with getting older but eating a diet that is rich in protein and vitimins and fats can help with that. I think the OP has lost weight and this accounts for the loss of volume. Good luck OP and do let us know how it all goes.

My friend had a c lift, though she lives in Spain. She looks fab and said no real pain and could go out and about within 4 or 5 days. I'm seriously thinking about it. I want to do it now so that there isn't a huge diff iykwim. Just to stay looking the same for the next 10 years, rather than looking a droopy old bag one day then 10 years younger the next.
Also thinking that the recovery time and elasticity of your skin will dwindle as each year passes.

had had the pricing back - four options - £6k , £7k, £8k and £9k !! a lot more than I was quoted by a chap I saw in Spain !! he does a C lift for €1500 !! but only under a local and that's what's putting me off !!

Hi. I am 65 years old and a Diabetic and over the last few years have lost 3 stone, making my face creased on the cheek area. I really feel fed up with my face at the moment (I have always had compliments on my skin before, not looking my age). First, I looked at a mini face lift but could really do without full surgery !! Has anyone got any recommendations for fillers that will last more than a year please ? I cant afford to have them done again after just a few months. I live in Essex, so can get into London quite easily. Also any recommendations for reputable clinics that could do fillers please ? Thank you for your ears. What is a C lift, a face lift under local anaesthetic is painless, take it from one who knows, all you feel is a bit of prodding,
Even the injections are painless

I’m 57 and live in London. I have Botox to lift my droopy eyes and make me look more awake. I love it and plan to carry in indefinitely.

I’ve had ultherapy and RF facials to tighten my sagging neck and jaw line. It’s expensive and takes a long time to work but it’s pretty good. I’d probably do it again.

I recently had a 6 thread lift to further improve my jaw line and improve my jowls. It has done a good job so far and should continue to improve over the next couple of months but I found it invasive so probably wouldn’t repeat it.

The doctor I saw suggested having some fillers to reduce my marionette lines but I drew the line there. At the moment I look natural, just fresh and rested and fit and I don’t want to start to look ‘done’. Unless I tell people no one knows I’ve done any of this. The doctor agreed with me but apparently a lot of people actually want to look like they’ve had work done.
That being said I’m going in for a mini peel next week!

The one thing that makes the most striking difference is the Botox. If I was strapped for cash I’d stick to that and also microblading, having defined eyebrows is very flattering.
