Critique my la redoute wedding dress

As per previous thread ordered this Delphine manivet for la redoute wedding dress for 120 (had a fifty off voucher) this is me trying it on sans makeup bra and decent shoes.

Believe it or not, Amazon have got a huge number of green shoes, all styles and prices, you will surely find something you like there.

I'd go with kitten heels for an authentic late 50s/ early 60s look. Something like this could be nice

Love the idea of mint green shoes and those cute bridesmaids dresses.

Tethers I would love new feet. I am plagued by the evilness that is bunions x 2 hence needing a wide fit. So this shoe thing may take some time. I want glittery sparkly loveliness however I need to be able to walk on the day I think. Grrrrr. I just remembered I can walk in those hidden platform things (came a bit late to the party on that one). I shall do a debenhams /schu office reccie today and see what I can see. Dd1 is not keen on sticky out dresses but she can usually be bought with a trip to Claire's so will see. She also wants to steal my thunder and wear white grrr.

I love the dress. It suits you and it's refreshing to see a dress that doesn't show three inches of cleavage!

I agree about the kitten heels being a great choice to go with the dress and for comfort.

Those shoes are calling to me rousette. They are GORGEOUS.

You can absolutely have green shoes. I had a short wedding dress and had bright pink and orange ones. And pink and leopard Converse for dancing... Add a little birdcage veil and you're good to go!

Lovely! If you like green shoes then find a pair in a shade that is not too deep ( round toed pumps with a heel? The key to making sure you can walk in them is fit. If your feet are slipping then buy insoles etc so that they stay in place, and practice!) and tie the colour in with your bouquet and or bouquet brooch. You could wear fresh flowers on your tiny waist, shoulder, or in your hair. Am excited for you, am sure you will accessorise it beautifully.

It looks bloody amazing. I so, so wish I'd worn a 50s style for my (2nd) wedding. I did actually order this one at the last minute but it didn't arrive in time (not their fault, I had a '1 week to go' dress panic)

Anyway, I digress. As I can't persuade DH to let me re-do the wedding day, I'm going to order it in black for parties. How's the sizing?

The middle shoes are the nicest, and would look great with your dress.

The M&S bead embellished dress is gorgeous, and a good price too, on the website the smaller size is sold out though, so if it's in a store near you, snap it up quickly.

I'm late to this and don't have anything to add by way of suggestions, but just wanted to say that that dress looks great on you, far better than on the model, and I think it's gorgeous.

I have to ask this, was that pic braless? If so, not only is the dress gorgeous, but you have awesome boobs too (jealous)
