Slippers that don't fall apart in a couple of months

Firstly, I'm aware that slippers are neither stylish or beautiful but in my old house with slate floors they're are pretty darn essential.

I'm sick of buying them for them to fall apart a couple of months later. Are there any slippers that might last longer? I have a maximum budget of £30.

Thanks

I got hush puppies sheepskin ones with hard soles from tk maxx for 16 quid. In summer I wear ugg flipflops with sheepskin insoles approx 40 quid. Both fab.

I've not really got on with slippers, but am a recent convert thanks to Shepherd sheepskin slippers. Beautifully warm and comfortable and aesthetically OK too. Jones the Boot sell them, and they turn up in TK Maxx sometimes too.

I have cheap £5 sandals to wear as slippers on cold floors. Fantastic as you can wear them outside for hanging washing etc ...and they have an arch support (I have fallen arches and have to wear supports in 'normal' shoes). Only problems is the soles crack sometimes if I keep crouching down in them - like doc marten's soles do (or used to do? maybe better now?)

Just be careful you don't forget you are wearing them and go out - sandals and socks are such a good look Grin
(And sadly when I realised and pointed it out to another mum (sandals and black socks!!!) she said she'd noticed but didn't realised I wasn't intending to wear them Blush Grin Blush)
