Buying online. They are Suede & Leather according to the seller.
I think have my favourite already but it is more expensive....
Maybe MN will make me change my mind and go for the cheaper one.
Or maybe I just should buy the one I am feeling best?
It will supposedly last very long...

Disclaimer: I do need to use rucksack bag sometimes, and those seems more grown up and matches my style.
Currently I use a red Hawaiian print one I was given for free on Freecycle ...looks like a child's bag.

Photo 2 bag2

AfroditeJones · 07/03/2014 11:10

Thanks but the bags on the photos are now out of the equation due to the heavy material they are made of.

I am considering the later links now.

I have to say I don't really like either of the two linked...

AfroditeJones · 07/03/2014 11:39

Thanks Acacia tell me why?
It is the slouch look isn't it?

The one from Hong Kong is nice

SundaySimmons · 07/03/2014 12:15

Sorry, the ones in the op look like something an illegal immigrant would carry!

If you want cheap

Or any of the Herschel ones.

Surfdome have lots of rucksacks.

GerundTheBehemoth · 07/03/2014 12:22

I like Dakine rucksacks. They are nicely designed with pockets where you want them, pretty hard-wearing, and come in various sizes and colours, plenty of sober/sensible/tasteful ones alongside the more... er, startlingly vibrant patterns. Amazon have lots of them.

PeterParkerSays · 07/03/2014 12:34

I would go for the "From Hong Kong" bag as the "from China" bag has a zip all the way down the bag so stuff may fall out if it's fully packed.

I also liked the giraffe one if it comes back up on eBay again

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 07/03/2014 12:50

Just so there is another vote for it I will post again...

Get the giraffe backpack. It's fun and won't make you look like a student/hippy/old boring practical person

BeCool · 07/03/2014 15:21

I need a backpack too - about to start life post-buggy. I've been researching them for ages now.

I can only get excited about Kankens - I know they are pricey but they've got all the bases covered and are ment to be completely waterproof.

Kankens

Ohh they have an offer on ATM ...

AfroditeJones · 07/03/2014 15:56

Where can I see and feel a Kanken one in person?
They look like travel bags to me, I wanted something more stylish.
Which colour are you going for cool?

I like the forest green and uncle blue colours. I also love the bright yellow but don't think I can work it year round.

They are a tad Scandinavian student but I like them. Not sure where they are stocked in the real world.
