Eyelash Curler Recomendation, please

I've always used Superdrug gold metallic eyelash curlers but they seem to have been discontinued.

So instead I bought Boots Vintage ones & unfortunately they seem to have removed clumps of eyelashes on both my upper eyelids .

Can anyone recommend a good pair? That hopefully won't remove the rest! And any tips for encouraging eyelash re-growth are appreciated!

apparently shu umera do the best eye lash curlers- all beauty bloggers use and recommend them - think they are pricey but last forever.

Shu Umera. The best eyelash curlers. They are a cult classic now.

Pricey - but absolutely, totally worth it

I have a pair of reallly ancient Body Shop ones but I'm a-coveting the Shu Umera ones
If they work and last as well as my old ones, it's money well spent.

BTW , I've had some awful ones too.

Boots - no
Tweezerman- snapped
Mister Mascara- didn't work
Revitalash- useless

Spent ££ over the years so if they are as good as they say, worth a try.

Thanks for all the recommendations - it looks like Shu Uemura is the way to go. Am curious about the heated Blinc ones too.....

WRT eyelash regrowth- I bought Revitalash from QVC last year (it was invented by an American Opthalmic for his wife when she lost her eyelashes due to ill health)

I have The Worlds Worst Eyelashes but I have to say, it worked wonders (I used the Revitabrow on my eyebrows too , brilliant)

Downside is, you have to keep at it for about 3 months to see results then a maintenance application.

I started last January (2013) but I didn't see any great improvement until May 2013. I used curlers and Mally mascara and couldn't believe they were mine

I bought a Lash/ Brow/ Blue Primer mascara and curler 4 piece set. The primer is ok (it's blue, I wear as a normal mascara) curlers are rubbish.

I've just bought some superdrug ones for two quid and they are great!! Better than any expensive ones I've ever bought. I doubt the shu umera ones are 7x better than the superdrug ones.

And my top eyelash tip is to always ensure your lashes are bone dry before curling. i.e. Don't curl them just after washing your face!

Also, to grow lashes and make them look amazing smear Vaseline over your closed lids and lashes then curl curl curl! Clamp hard. They will look great

The Blinc ones are amazing - seriously. I have very long, but very straight eyelashes, and the normal curlers (I've tried many different makes over the years) just don't work. The Blinc things curl them into place and they stay like that. One of the best inventions ever.

I've got a tweezerman one and I love it, its lasted for years although saying that I don't use it everyday only when I can be arsed

It comes with 3 or 4 spare pads so I can see this lasting me forever.

Thanks again for the tips - I'm bidding on both the Blinc heated curlers & Shu Uemera eyelash curlers on EBay - hopefully that'll be more cost-effective.
