Started using a natural shampoo-greasy hair, when does that stop?

Using weleda, my hair is horrific! Chip shop pan greasy and knotty and big!

When will this settle down?

It will settle down?

Gorgeous hair awaits me?

I don't know if natural shampoo will be helpful, you probably will end up washing your hair every day, may get better with time. Personally the best for me in the past have been this:

At the end i know that my hair is not really greasy, its very dry at the lengths and that's why it gets greasy at the roots. Restoring shampoo is best for me now, conditioner all over and my hair is actually nice.

I tried a few and had so many bad hair days that switched back to evil SLS-laced stuff...
Ime all natural shampoos are pretty crap if you have fine hair and do not need oils in your shampoo.
But there is something that's even worse - natural conditioners
A friend also had a chip shop experience with Weleda face cream.

I have been using a Green People shampoo.

my hair is softer - and actually I have been able to leave it two days without washing - whereas previously I would have washed everyday.

It's this one shampoo

I have the conditioner to go with it, but don't find that I need it.

I can't find a natural shampoo or conditioner that works. Have very thick, dry hair and I get horrible bushy hair PLUS itchy dry scalp when I use natural shampoos. Although the L'oreal sulphate free ones (not natural) work well.

I've tried several natural ones ..and have had to go back to silicone ones :( The natural ones just don't let me get a comb through (thick hair) afterwards..and the conditioners are hopeless.. I look like Hagrid!

Pretty annoyed, my hair is definitely curlier with weleda though.

I've been using an aveda one. Used twice and threw the bottle away. What a waste, oily knotted hair.

I have never experienced this and I use faith in nature. I've seen very little change in my hair at all, for the better or for the worse. It's grown an amazing amount by that can't be down to shampoo as conditioner I would imagine.

I use korres shampoo and my hair is lovely. I have received loads if compliments about my hair

I have very long hair and use faith in nature which I find great, particularly the jojoba conditioner.

I use a spray of lavender and tea tree oil in water for detangling.

You do need to wash more often though, ad once it gets greasy, it seems natural shampoos have less grease cutting ability.

Perhaps look into a vinegar solution, or other natural remedy to use alongside the commercial shampoos for the greasiness.

And coconut oil for the knotting?

Princessalbert I've always fancied trying green people but it's crazy expensive if you have long hair.

Gosh yes. The shampoo/conditioner/shower gel- all come in a pretty big tubes. 200ml .

I have shoulder length, thick hair - and it lasts me a long time. You only need a pea sized amount. I put it away in between my showers as I don't want the rest of the family using it with abandon :)

They often have special offers on - I stocked up a bit prior to Christmas- as they were doing bogof on a lot of items.

Just looked now- no specials on shampoo - but it's free postage on your first order.

A bottle of shampoo normally lasts me around 6 months, but I only wash my hair twice a week.

The korres stuff was on offer in Waitrose last week.

And make sure you rinse your hair with clean tepid water.

J?SÖN Sea Kelp shampoo and conditioner works on my longish thick wavy hair.

About £6.50 each but I find I can make it last, esp the shampoo (I dilute the latter in a cup so I don't over-shampoo, and it works in better, too).

The cond works much better with a cold rinse out.
