I'm trying to find a good one that a)doesn't make my eyes bloodshot and sore and b)works.

Atm I'm using Simple, and it's rubbish.

I use a solid bar from lush - I think it's called babyface but I could be wrong. It's a very mild greasy bar which you just gently rub on to your skin and then wipe off with a damn cotton wool pad.

ScentedScandal · 15/02/2014 12:41

I use Garnier

leobear · 15/02/2014 17:02

Baby oil! Nothing better. I have used it since I was 13, I'm now 36 and have virtually no static lines around my eyes.

schmalex · 15/02/2014 17:03

I use the Body Shop chamomile oil cleanser. Can't remember the exact name.

laughalot · 15/02/2014 17:04

I had a ysl one for Christmas its fab and works does not hurt or sting however its probably ££.

mrsblakey · 15/02/2014 18:23

Vaseline as recommended on here!

KayHarker1 · 15/02/2014 18:24

Doesn't vaseline and baby oil make your eyes all blurry?

Estee lauder gentle eye make u remover in the blue bottle.

charitygirl · 15/02/2014 19:21

I use micellar water (Bioderma but pretty much every range has a micellar cleanser these days) to remove all my make up - it's better then any eye make up remover I've had (though I did like Clinique's)

Leaves skin pretty soft too, however I still do a second cleanse with a balm or milk afterwards.

StarsAbove · 15/02/2014 19:28

Baby shampoo!

thenightsky · 15/02/2014 19:28

Boots Botanics is the only one I've used for the last 15 years. Never found anything that comes close. I wear waterproof mascara mostly.

IlonaRN · 16/02/2014 11:27

I use Clinique's Take the Day Off makeup remover (in the purple bottle).
It's the only one I've bought again and again!

level3at6months · 16/02/2014 11:34

Clinique here too.

hollyisalovelyname · 16/02/2014 11:55

I found Simple stung.
The one I always return to is Garnier Simple Essential Soothing eye make up remover

suze28 · 16/02/2014 14:57

Bioderma micellar water is great and as good as Lancome Bifacil and Clinique take the day off. Escentual online have 25% off atm so the Bioderma will be a good price.

4amInsomniac · 16/02/2014 17:28

Another micellar water fan here, the Superdrug one is cheaper than Bioderma and just as good IMO.

GoingToBedfordshire · 16/02/2014 17:29

Waitrose Pure. Got in when I couldn't get to a big Boots for the botanics one but find it is just as good.

Saurus72 · 16/02/2014 17:33

Clinique take the day off. It's the only one that gently takes off my Bobbi Brown cream eyeshadow and waterproof mascara without any scrubbing from me. I used to use Liz Earle and I didn't realise how crap it was until I got a sample of the Clinique one with a magazine. Costs a fortune, but one bottle lasts 3-4 months of daily use, and I think it's totally worth it.

RonaldMcDonald · 16/02/2014 17:44

lancome bifacil

Tinselt0wn · 16/02/2014 17:46

Clinique or Lancôme

RufusTheReindeer · 16/02/2014 19:37

Another one for Clinique.

Works beautifully and I wear a lot of black eyeliner

Amethyst24 · 16/02/2014 19:38

Another vote for Waitrose Pure. Doesn't hurt my eyes, works and is soooo cheap.

TheGonnagle · 16/02/2014 19:39

Shu Uemura cleansing oil. Brilliant product, gets all makeup off with no hassle.

StrawberryMoose · 16/02/2014 19:39

Just discovered Nivea double effect eye makeup remover. It's the best I've used so far.

TippiShagpile · 16/02/2014 19:40

Lancôme bifacile.

It's spendy and I keep trying other brands but I always come back to Lancôme.
