Decent plus size leggings

Does anyone know where I can get good (ie not short & see through) black leggings in size 24-26? I'm well aware that I'm verging on hugeness & should therefore probably not even wear leggings or go out in public at all according to some but I do wear them with long tops, mainly for work where I'm only visible from the knee down anyway because of the nasty labcoats I wear.
I've bought leggings from Evans, Yours & Simply Be and they're ok but tend to be a bit thin & see through and some of the Evans ones are really short. Is there anywhere else to try?

Sainsburys. Not the two pack but the individual ones. Think they go to a 24 but they come up big. I'm a 22-24 and wear the 20.

Thanks ladies, I'll have a look. You're right Pink, Sainos clothes do come up big, I have some of their short lived 'Grace' range & the sizing on that was very generous. I'll have a look in the big Sainos near us when I next go

The Sainsburys ones come in different lengths as well - I'm 5`11 and the long is plenty long enough.

Another vote for Sainsbos but get the 'luxury' ones that are £10 per pair not the twin pack ones.

The Sainsburys luxury ones are really nice, and a good length in long

saisnburys luxury ones but size down at least once. the ankles are quite wide on them though and sizing down helps with that as well.

I'd give boden ones a try and next and m&s, m&s do a plus size range, but I found at a size 24 id need to size down to at least a 22. Next and boden size 22 should fit with ease.

Vicky, thank you so much for the links. I never think of looking in 'normal' shops, only the plus size ones. Those m&s ones look good. I think I'll order some & also go to sainsburys tomorrow.

Just to second the Boden recommendation. I have several pairs of leggings from there and they are good quality, plus the fit is very generous - so I always size down one.

A 22 from there should be easily big enough.

I always try to avoid buying anything from specialised 'plus' labels whenever possible!

Boden ones come up huge. Mine fell down to my ankles even at 39 weeks pregnant!

Yes, that's why I size down - maybe 2 sizes down would be better in fact.

This might sound strange but have you thought about maternity leggings ? Especially if you have a bit of a tummy in proportion to hips/bum
I am a total convert. Post baby I have a bit of a mummy tummy. I now only buy maternity leggings in a smaller size as they pull up over tummy but still fit bum nicely and stop me getting that annoying thing where they slip down all of the time and go lose at the crotch. I get the jojomamanbebe ones. I should add I am a 10/12 but I assume it would still work in plus sizes. If you are more of an apple shape than a pear/hourglass shape def worth a try.

Im a 20/22 and find Sainsburys luxury size 16 fit me well.

Next size 18.

Plus size clothes are terrible quality. I used to be a size 30! I found it all terrible.
