Wavy hair and wondering.....

I have thick, fine, wavy hair in a bob which had grown into a triangular shape almost as wide as its long and I got to the point where I was washing it and putting a hat on it to flatten it down :) I had it cut today - it was thinned out to get rid of the weight and then blow dried straight. It looks nice and I like it BUT when I asked about leaving it to go its own wavy, kinky way she said she'd blow dried it smooth to check on the accuracy of her cutting - which makes sense to me but then I thought maybe she prefers to cut straight hair rather than wavy and part of me wants a hairdressers who appreciates and can cut wavy hair.
Do you think I should find a wavy hair specialist next time or go with someone who blow dries it straight and cuts it accurately?

Definitely make it clear that you will wear your hair curly, ad you want to see it like that. I have only recently started doing this, and afterwards I realised I had been charged £10 in the past for a straight blow dry I didn't want.

I wear my hair sometimes straight, sometimes curly. I always have it dried straight at the hairdressers because she couldn't dry it curly, it would be a total mess, it needs to dry naturally to develop a curl without the frizz.
