Would you wear this to a wedding?

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CORAL-COLOURED-DRESS-FROM-NEXT-ONLY-WORN-FOR-AN-HOUR-SIZE-14-/281257657763?pt=UK_Women_s_Dresses&hash=item417c4345a3

Or is it too dull/work dress? The wedding is in April, so I was thinking of getting a cream jacket similar to this:

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ladies-Fitted-Sleeve-6-Button-Colour-Blazer-Jacket-Womens-Size-8-14-/171019310561?pt=UK_Women_s_Coats_Jackets&var=470247479587&hash=item27d18b95e1

I am just worried its a bit blah if everyone else will be in floral numbers- but then will they if its April? The wedding is in a nice hotel with gardens but the wedding itself isn't overly formal- groom and groomsmen in ordinary suits and shirts just matching ties, no bridesmaids and MOTB not wearing hat/fascinator.

Thoughts appreciated!

Dress is lovely. Shoes not so much.

Have a look on the shoeaholics website you might find some nice shoes on there.

Ha fair point about the jacket being ringmaster-esque, thats a resounding no to the jacket then?! I definitely will need something over the dress as the photos will be taken outside (unless its raining I assume) and I don't think a cardigan would be warm enough.

I understand what people are saying about it being a safe option which was my question in my op but having just gone back to work part time and paying for childcare I think my days if shopping in Coast are over for a while anyway! I do have a navy blazer so might see if that will work and if not look for other jackets.

I love the idea of tan shoes- I think nude will be too close to the dress but not close enough IYSWIM? will check out that website, thanks.

The dress is lovely - but could you replace the belt, maybe with a satin ribbon to match the jacket?

Ribbon is a great idea. You can get them in J L, loads of colours. I do like the idea of turquoise.
