Eye cream & night cream budget recommendations please

In my 20s & 30s I used Roc anti wrinkle eye cream & Dermalogica skin smoothing cream. Since children, my skin care regime has gone to pot rather. I'm looking for something good for wrinkles, well something that makes them less visible at least! Any ideas please?

Aldi LaCura is your friend.

Boots No. 7

Thank you both. Will investigate.

I feel a bit more chatty tonight Grin

I like the Aldi Lacura, but find its smell a little too strong.
I actually really like Boots botanics, but my skin is very dry and I need a bit more oomph during the winter.

Having said that, I have just seen their Super Balm and could be tempted to try it, so far I have only used the all bright range.

Boots No 7 for very dry skin is wonderfully rich without being too oily, tackles "signs of ageing" and I think it's the best value for money for me.

Don't bother about n eye cream. Honest. Just smear over a tiny bit of your face cream over your eyes. The skin there is very thin and I've had to beautician telling me that the cream just gets stuck there and when people get eyelifts, the surgeons have to wipe cream from under the skin. Envy

Olay 3 point creams are brilliant with great ingredients

Thanks for elaborating continentalkat and thanks to all others too. I'm going shopping on Saturday, so will be harassing the staff in a Boots;)

Forget anti wrinkle cream just wear a day cream or foundation with high sun factor protection. A very young looking consultant dermatologist told me years ago that the only way to prevent facial wrinkles is never to allow any sun damage. No amount of expensive potions will repair sun damage so if you are still young you are in a brilliant position to prevent it.
When I go abroad I wear very strong factor on my face and use a self tan at night so my face matches the rest of me by the end of the holiday.
I am glad I followed the advice, people are often surprised when they find out how old I am.

I agree re. sun damage, but my skin definitely looks less wrinkly when it is really well moisturised.
Switching from Botanics all bright to No 7 for dry skin made a huge difference!

Neal's Yard Rose Facial oil as night cream. About £20 but lasts nearly a year - amazing smell and feels very nourishing.

Y to using high SPF. If you can get it, powder sunscreen is great for in the day.

I have both dehydrated and dry skin, so at night I use aloe gel for hydration and a cheap and cheerful rich moisturiser for moisture - you can use them as moisture masks. Avon does good basic moisturiser pots.
