I think Cameron Diaz looks great there. Dark hair really makes her blue eyes stand out.
I think a lot of people maybe tend to dye their hair a lovely dark brown colour and then continue to dye all over it instead of just having the roots done eventually resulting in too dark hair?

Wowser surely you don't mean the very lovely Liam Connor, aka evil Barrow from Downton. He is the very epitome of tall, DARK and handsome and his hair looks fine.

I was surprised to find out Sophia Vergara is naturally blonde; she looks so much better with very dark hair.

I also like Cameron Diaz with brown hair.

Do we know that people like Courtney cox aren't naturally dark? It seems to be a consistent shade, I imagine she must dye it now though being older and all.

I'm half Turkish and look totally English except for my hair which is so dark brown it looks black.

Hairdressers fall over themselves to tell me I'm dyeing it the wrong colour and that it's too dark for my olive/pale skin.

I get comments like "that shade makes you look unhealthy/like a ghost/like a goth"

I just laugh (and cry inside )

See, this pisses me off. I have blonde highlights and it suits me. But what I really want is Jennifer Aniston-esque toffee and caramel shades.

And I have yet to meet a hairdresser who can oblige. They can do blonde, they can do brown, they can do ginger.

But caramel, nope. I've tried and tried. I give up and embrace the bleach.

Dyed my hair dark brown because I wanted to cover my greys. Was told I had dyed it to dark by someone I know who apparently trained as a hairdresser.
So next time I saw her I showed her my natural roots which were even darker (and also grey)

As a natural black/brown I had my own epiphany recently and had my hair dip dyed chestnut into honey. Has taken years off me.

If its done well its def not peroxide or stripes. Cox looks hard as nails which is a shame as she is lovely
