i have one coming today - first time for me although I have used similar for the kids.
She is doing a colour, what do you DO when the colour is on?

Plus does she come up to the bathroom to wash it off? ( needto have a quick wipe around)

My friend used to get her kids' hair cut while her colour took. I've only had cut done at home.

MrsSteptoe · 27/01/2014 08:56

See if you can answer some of those pesky accessory questions in S&B?

ggirl · 27/01/2014 08:56

MrsSteptoe · 27/01/2014 08:56

Together, natch?

ParsleyTheLioness · 27/01/2014 08:57

The only time I had this done, mine washed the colour off at the kitchen sink. I provided the towels, and tea, and found that any saving was wiped out by the hassle. I go out to the hairdressers now! Grin

When my hairdresser comes over to do colour we usually sit drink tea and chat while it develops. She washes it out over my kitchen sink with a fancy collar thing that directs the water into it and one of them tap/shower adapter thingys!
We've built up quite a friendship over the years now!

ggirl · 27/01/2014 09:03

I love my haairdresser..will be lost if she leaves and doesn't tell me where...would have to hunt her down

tracyandeli · 27/01/2014 09:03

I'm sure she will be very chatty herself, should only be half an hour to develop colour you could offer tea and biscuits then discuss your cut etc and I would clean your bathroom in case she talks about you to her next client Wink

DrNick · 27/01/2014 09:04

My mobile hairdresser was my "old " salon hairdresser. The difference being I make the coffee, hang head over the bath while rinsing( not as relaxing as before) but the chat is great and it is about half of what I used to pay but with the same result.
