What do you wear...

day to day
nice evening out

if you are 5" 4', size 10 (but not very toned, bit wobbly) with F cup boobs. Work at home mum, no need for officey outfits. Quite casual, generally.

I feel I am in a bit of a rut. I want a wardrobe where I can just chuck on whatever and look decent but somehow that never quite happens! I always feel I can't wear certain things because my boobs and bum are too big and I look weird. If you're a similar size to me, what do you wear?

I'm 5'2, 10-12 and 32E - any use?

For casual outfits, I tend to wear either skinnies, ankle boots and a jumper, or a tube skirt, ankle boots and a jumper. Biker jacket or parka on top, generally, depending on the temperature.

Evenings out, would depend where tbh.

Pub - a dressier version of the above - by 'dressy' I mean a top rather than a jumper and heeled ankle boots.
Meal - similar but heels rather than ankle boots.
Dancing - similar again but either skinnies, snazzy top and mega-heels, or shorter skirt, snazzy top (but with sleeves) and heels.
I find separates easier than dresses, generally, due to norkage but have a couple of dresses for 'dressier' nights out.

Thanks, remuslupin! What sort of brands do you tend to go for?

I love a black top and trousers or jeans and accessories!

Scarves
Necklaces
Belts
Earrings

You could actually wear the same top and trousers every day and just change it by good accessories!

Tube skirts - mostly Whistles sales. Used to be Topshop but the W's ones are much better.
Skinnies - mostly M&S 5 pocket 'jeggings' because they fit me v well.

I bought the hush tube skirt as recommended on here and it's great. Thick wool tights, layers and a swingy coat. I wear with flat riding boots.

The above tops with skinny jeans works too, or skinny cords.

Coast do nice dresses, nothing high necked.
I wear heeled ankle boots with pencil skirts and same tops ...

I just never feel nice, I see things on other people and I know even if I wore the exact same outfit I would still look scruffy! Ugh

Coast dresses don't work on me - are huge on back and shoulders, if they fit on norks.

If you never feel nice maybe look at your grooming and posture first. Hair, make up and accessories make a big difference.

Ooh I am similar to you, but do not wobble.
During the week, for work, I wear suits with either trousers or skirts, but skirts below the knee.
In the evenings & at the weekend, either cords or velvet trousers with a cashmere jumper, unless I am gardening, in which case old trousers and my step-son's ski jumper with an ancient (think 1986), puffa waistcoat.
I am 55 and don't do jeans anymore.

I am 5'4, size 12, 32G. I find tops v difficult on the nork front too - shirts buttoned to the neck particularly catastrophic. Skinny jeans/ trousers with a more voluminous top seems to work - boyfriend jumpers, things described as trapeze or swing. Big fan of ankle boots. Scarves. Me + Em do some great stretchy dresses and skirts with ruching that can be strategically positioned to highlight or camouflage. Sweatshirts generally too bulky. Above-knee skirt with tights and a fairly drapy top can work well.
Sorry this is a bit random but helpful I hope.
