My best pair are from Sainsburys.

They were about a tenner. But they are thick, don't seem to have faded in the wash and fit well. They come high up on the waist. V comfortable.

They had navy, brown and bottle green as well as black.

I've never had a problem with those from New Look. They range from £8-14 but the basic £8 ones are thick and wash really well without going bobbly at the crotch.

I have 3 pairs from primark which have a velvet lining inthem which is so soft and nice and warm and they were only 6 pound

rollonthesummer · 20/01/2014 14:40

These are the best leggings in the whole world ;)

Try next again - Ponte leggings. I tried both, no contest.

SarahGoodwin33 · 20/01/2014 22:58

White stuff, really nice or if you're feeling flush jack wills do some lush leggings that feel like really expensive opaque tights. I got some for crimbo from sister and have worn them to death and still feel new

pixelchick10 · 21/01/2014 01:28

Top Shop thick leggings are my faves

Wishfulmakeupping · 21/01/2014 01:45

Yy to Sainsburys cheap but they wash nice and don't bobble

glammanana · 21/01/2014 08:49

I have quite a few pairs of leggings and jeggings, one pair from Sainsburys which have kept their shape and are a good thickness I have had for 4 yrs and they are as good as new, this year I have bought 2 pairs from M&S at £9.50 and they have a good wide high waistband and fit well they too are a good thickness and will buy more soon.

spottymoo · 21/01/2014 17:06

The sainsburys one are they the individual ones or the ones in packs of two?

Like the look of the wallis ones I'll check if our city has one as town doesn't.

The sainsbos ones are called luxury supersoft (I think) - they're individual and have modal in them and quite a deep waistband.

They had totally run out in my local one but restocked yesterday so get in quick!

MarianForrester · 21/01/2014 17:16

What is the sizing on the wallis ones like? They look good, like the high waist.

Wishfulmakeupping · 21/01/2014 19:54

Sains ones I get are the packs of two

princessalbert · 21/01/2014 20:14

I got the Sainsburys leggings which were sold individually. About £10 I think?

They run pretty large I would say. I bought a 14 and they are v roomy around the tummy area.

omuwalamulungi · 21/01/2014 20:25

Topshop, they aren't see through and better quality fabric than from anywhere else I've tried.

CharlieBoo · 21/01/2014 20:30

Topshop here too..

rollonthesummer · 21/01/2014 20:47

I'm a size 12 and have the small in Wallis leggings. They are very stretchy and the high waist is very comfortable-and gives a good line under clothes! What size are you?

spottymoo · 24/01/2014 14:58

I've ordered some of the Wallis ones to try and managed to pick one pair up from sainsburys this morning so I'll see which I prefer out the the two.

I have bought in the past few years:-

Top Shop plain black
M&S Indigo collection
Next
M&S

Out of all of them for touch and fabric the Top Shop and Next are best but they also got small holes. NOT GOOD

spottymoo · 24/01/2014 18:26

I lived my next one but when I tried them on the other day they we're see through :(
