Sports bra?

I'm on a bit of a new-year health kick, and want to take up running. I've tried on a few sports bras (and jumped up and down in the changing room) but none of them actually seem to do anything...

I'm a 32C, size 10/12, any recommendations?

Check out Shock Absorber or Freya Active Underwired. When you first put them on, they should be really tight - I can barely fasten the Freya, but it will stretch when on.

But I have to ask, have you seen the bra intervention threads here? Most size 10 people need smaller band size than 32.

Shock Absorber Run. Just got one from Debenhams sale at 70% off. (It's the bright purple and pink ones reduced). And I agree with hazlenutt, try on some smaller back sizes with bigger cups. I'm a 12/14 and need a 34 back, when I always used to get 36s or even 38s!

Marks and spencer eco

I'm a similar size and would definitely recommend Shock Adsorber, no motion at all. The only downside was the very loud commentary from my son when I went to buy it Grin

Shock absorber run is brilliant and doesn't look too bad either.

I've recently bought the panache sports bra,it's wired, moulded and uttutterly awesome.

But Hazle has a point about the size. ..

I have the Shock Absorber Run for running(obvs). it's very, very tight. Especially across my back but makes me stand up straight.

I also bought a cheapo Asda sports bra. It's just like a cropped top really (not such defined cups) but it is pretty good. Holds everything in place, even for long runs. I also wear it for doing my exercise dvds in the house.

Basically - it needs to be tight - to stop your boobs jiggling.

Sportjock compression bras are very good - they definitely stop any bounce! Expensive, but they last really well. And lots of pretty colours, not just black or white.

EddieVeddersfoxymop · 21/01/2014 10:28

I've got the panache 80% less bounce one....it's amazing! I'm a 32G so if it can control mine........Grin

cardamomginger · 21/01/2014 10:58

shock absorber.

sweaty Betty run bras are pretty good, but not sure it's quite enough support for very high impact (even though they are run bras).
