... wannabe fancy watch or actually quite stylish and elegant?

I like the look of it and like a bit of sparkle but not ott. It's tricky to know by just looking at the pictures online. My birthday is coming up and I'd like to get a good watch. I love tag heuer but their watched are out of my reach.

I don't like blingy stuff myself at all...so don't pay any attention to me.
But that Tag Heuer one is horrible.

It's the pink face that makes these watches look cheap.

If you want an investment watch, my Hermes watch has done me very well. I have to say the style of watch in the OP doesn't appeal to me at all.

I can see that a pink face is a bit tacky. I hadn't thought of it but I guess mother of pearl will always look classier.

Can I add my watch into the ring-its a fossil mini riley in rose gold (but they do it in silver). Bargain at about £80. Lots of compliments since Christmas. Sorry can't do linky things to save my life.

Is it this one? I like the rose coloured one but it wouldn't go with my wedding ring. However, not sure if the silver coloured mini Riley has the same 'wow' effect as the rose coloured one....

Yes nofuss that is it! I have the rose coloured one and my rings are all platinum, so the silver one would have been better IYSWIM but thought the rose gold one was a bit different! You might be able to try on in H Samuels (like I did) then buy on line about 20 quid cheaper (well DH did after strict guidance...)

It comes with a 2 year guarantee. I think they are American and have been doing watches a long time.

OP have a look at Raymond Weil, they do some really lovely watches in the £700-£1k price bracket. Also Tissot and Longines.

It looks like a cross between a vintage Gucci watch I have, and a Rolex, with a pink face that I would like!

Yes, my Bulova has real diamonds around the outside of the face. If you're anywhere near Glasgow I would recommend here They have a great selection of watches and are always competitively priced.
