Lines between eyebrows - non surgical ways to disguise, please

AngelaAndrews · 13/01/2014 07:47

I have 3 lines (almost as though the skin has split Sad ) on top of nose, between my eyebrows. I had botox a while back, but it just spread my eyebrows wider apart and didn't do much for the lines. Also had fillers on another part of my face which I wasn't impressed with, so don't want to have anything surgical. I'm not actually in bad nick.

I'm accepting that I'm stuck with them (I'm in my 50s) but think there might be some potion or fairy dust available to minimise them/trick the eye/make them look less obvious or maybe some clever make up techniques Hmm

Any ideas wise ones?

Interested in the replies, I have one deep line that is vertical between my eyebrows and is very noticeable.

Floisme · 13/01/2014 08:18

This may not help but I would be stuffed without my glasses. They don't exactly hide my lines but they distract all the attention from them - and from my jowls too!

willyoulistentome · 13/01/2014 08:41

Ooooh. I have that deep vertical line between my eyebrows too. It makes me look so cross all the time when I'm really not. No advice but watching to see if anyone else has solved it.

the3amgirl · 13/01/2014 10:16

I got a fringe cut in to hide mine, and really like it.

lubeybooby · 13/01/2014 10:19

a make up trick is to use a very fine brush with a little concealer lighter than your skin tone to fill in the line itself, and use a little powder (prerably just a tiny dab of mineral make up powder) to set it

careful to get it only in the line though :)

OllievanderWand · 13/01/2014 10:21

Willyyou I think part of my problem is that I do seem to be cross a lot of the time!

StillSeekingSpike · 13/01/2014 10:24

Nanoblur. You can get it from Boots and it does indeed blur the lines a little bit. I have also become fashionable and grown a straight fringe Wink

triaktiline from boots is like pollyfilla Grin and helps a bit with mine. I've been doing face massage from youtube (have a look under 'massage instead of botox' on youtube) and that's improved mine or you could also try frownies

AnnabelleDarling · 13/01/2014 11:18

L'oreal studio secrets primer in a little jar. It's like putty for you face, fabulous stuff, massage it in and the lines will disappear. Clarins have a similar one in a red jar.

IamInvisible · 13/01/2014 11:21

I had Botox for my migraines. My eyebrows are further apart but the lines are gone.

Botanicbaby · 13/01/2014 12:01

agree with lubeybooby - invest in a good fine make-up brush to do it too!

OP, I think practically everyone over a certain age has these lines to some extent or another, never noticed it in others when I was in my 20s/30s though. Sigh.

QueenCadbury · 13/01/2014 16:02

I've given up sweet stuff-chocolate/biscuits etc and I'm sure that my 11s are less noticeable.

YNK · 13/01/2014 16:06

Retin A all the way!

Drywhiteplease · 13/01/2014 17:58

Am rushing to Boots to stick up with all of those products! Like Willy I look cross when's face isn't moving, but I'm a really happy person and laugh a lot Sad

willyoulistentome · 13/01/2014 18:01

Fringes don't work on me as I have fine wavy hair and they just kink up and sideways. What does Retain A do?

willyoulistentome · 13/01/2014 18:02

*Retin

Drywhiteplease · 16/01/2014 20:43

Right have ordered on Amazon:

Frownies (I was swayed by the reviewer who sad they were "a bit like sticking a bit of an old envelope on your forehead"!!
L'Oreal studio secrets
Triaktiline

Surely, after I've used all that lot, I'll look years younger Grin ....cheaper than Botox .

willyoulistentome · 16/01/2014 20:50

Don't forget to come back and let us know how you get on with it.

Drywhiteplease · 16/01/2014 20:57
