notanotter....I have five, one of my best friends has five (including twins for her), another has four...another is on her sixth.

we are all different shapes but we all also wear bikinis.

I for one feel much more confident post kiddies than ever before, and now don't even own a full cossie. If I go swimming I wear tankinins!

Go for it....you know you want to!

[wow emoticon]. now thats called style girlie.....am suitably impressed.

see....anyhting above £30 is normally wayyyyyy out of my price range, unless it is jeans.

got a small jean obsession going....last count 25 pairs, so would spend more on a pair cos I know I'll get the wear out of them.

psychomum5 · 27/07/2006 00:35

altho I normally get in the sales. Gap jeans (I love gap jeans as they suit me best) I only ever get in the sales. £12 for the last two pairs.

Not only that....in Gap on their sizes I am a sz 6....one way to flatter a girl into buying LOTS!

Go for it if you like it and have the cash.

at 25 pairs of jeans!!!

psychomum5 · 27/07/2006 00:45

errrrmmmm.....my drawers, wardrobe, chair, and normally got some in wear mode and wash and ironing pile.

Of course in this heat I haven't got any in wear mode (have been living in shorts/bikinis/dresses) and have got all now washed and ironed and so have run out of room. That is the reason why I now know how many I have.

PLUS....flame took some that I have shrunk out of recently, so in fact DID have more.
flame is tho!

CountessDracula · 27/07/2006 10:04

I so do have taste

It's too BIG for a bikini, it just looks horrid

paddingtonbear1 · 27/07/2006 14:26

I quite like it but I wouldn't pay that much for a bikini...

SSSandy · 27/07/2006 14:33

Hmm not sure that I'd choose that one (for me anyway).

Following on from reading all the MN style gurus going on about how they DO wear bikinis, I did buy one (against my better judgement). I think it looks nice (the bikini that is). Not sure if I really really like the way I look in it. Mine is less grown-up looking than yours somehow.

I would like to get a second one but it's such a pain trying them on with kids in tow. My thought is they'll be plenty on sale on holiday and I'll have a look there.

NomDePlume · 27/07/2006 14:37

TBH, it's quite a mumsy shaped bikini, not that much more revealing than a one piece. If you like it and can afford it, then go for it, but imo it looks a bit frumpy. Nothing about the cut as shown on the website says flattering to me...

CarolinaMoose · 27/07/2006 16:37

But shurely, and no disrespect to NotAnOtter , five months after having your fifth baby, maybe you need that much coverage.

Chandra · 27/07/2006 17:33

I think I would need a victorian swimming costume to cover the effects of my one and only pregnancy.

desperateSCOUSEwife · 27/07/2006 17:43

agree with countess
I am not too keen on it as I think it is too big for a bikini
looks a bit grannyish imo

I would go for a slinkier one, but that is me and my style
and yes have had loads of kids too
and can still wear one

NotAnOtter · 27/07/2006 17:44

i am 38 so dont want to look mutton
