Pants!!! Where do you buy yours?

I need some new pants and I don't think my criteria are particularly exacting to be honest but I just can't seem to find any I'm happy with. I need:

  • Briefs or short style ones
  • Not low rise as irritates C-section scar
  • need to contain C-section overhang
  • size 12
  • preferably cotton but have tried M&S cotton ones, they fade and look worn out so quickly
  • would like pretty rather than purely plain/boring
  • must stay up!! I don't know if its because my bottom is smaller than my tummy but I am tired of getting the 'saggy bum' effect
  • less than £5 per pair but would pay more if they really are good.

Would love to know if you are pleased with your pants and where they came from!

hate to say it but I had to start wearing big pants to solve the not falling down problem. M&S or sloggi full briefs, not sexy in the slightest but they stay put. M&s have some nicer ones in the 3 for £10 range, and some ok prints in the multi packs although I tend to stick to the plain ones. I do get lacy or silky ones from the 3 for £10 range to, for when I don't want big cotton pants Blush

the only other ones that stay put are thongs but I don't like to wear those everyday and only if needed for vpl isues.

I bought pretty cotton short type knickers from primark for my holidays and there fabby, go over my c section scar and over hang also pull me in a bit Smile they were £1.50 a pair and be through the wash a million times and still not lost shape colour
For £1.50 you don't mind replacing often Grin

John Lewis multipacks always go the distance. Boring but true!

I buy the asda multi packs one black ones, used to buy m&s or John Lewis but found they faded or the elastic went quickly so now just get Asda with the view to replacing more often, have to say though these asda ones are lasting. I also buy a size 16 even though in jeans I'm a 14 sometimes even a 12, my weight is round my tummy and the knickers kept rolling down, I also tumble things so perhaps I was shrinking them?

Sainsbury's have some surprisingly nice knickers. I also get multipacks from primark.

Tesco make nice cotton lycra shorts which are cheapish (£6 for 2 or thereabouts). No VPL, wash well and very comfortable. But not sure about the rise for anyone with C-section issues..... otherwise I'd recommend without hesitation.

These are the comfiest knickers I have found in a looooong time.
