Am 41 and my jaw is saggy, wtf can I do?

I don't want any cosmetic surgery but polo necks will be an impossibility soon sob and don't talk to me about my cowl neck jumper - folds of wool mingling with folds of skin, it's hard to know where jumper ends and face begins.

Not linked to weight so no good losing any. Feel like a Basset hound. Is there anything else I can do or should I just learn to love the nifty way my chin folds into my neck?

No advice but similar issue. I feel your pain:-(

wecantallbeperfect · 09/01/2014 06:48

Exactly the same for me, am hoping someone comes along with advice.

Bunbaker · 09/01/2014 06:55

Same here. Hoping for good advice. I have a skinny face so losing weight will make it look worse.

I find neck exercises very effective, as is massage. I am 46 and have a very long neck. I have exercised and massaged the skin ( roughly, not gentle stroking) for a good few years and have very little sagging and my jaw line definition is as strong as it ever was.
It's not going to be an overnight cure but it will make a difference.

LaTrucha · 09/01/2014 07:03

I'd like to know too!

madmomma · 09/01/2014 08:22

bigbuttons which exercises do you do?
There are a couple of neck exercises in facercise.

HappyGirlNow · 09/01/2014 09:32

madmomma · 09/01/2014 12:05

whitecat I'd rather have a saggy neck!

I have exactly the same problem and I tried several things which were all totally ineffective but then I went for a CACI treatment and it was really good.

I look at photos from a couple of years ago when I seemed to have several chins and no discernible neck, to a recent one after a number of CACI treatments and I think it is some of the best money I have ever spent on myself.

Swimming believe it or not really helps

scripsi · 09/01/2014 22:46

whichdidyouchoose how often do you have Caci? I had it for my birthday present this year and it felt great, but wondered whether to do it regularly.

whichdidyouchoose · 09/01/2014 22:54

I had 15 sessions going twice a week for a couple of months, now I have a monthly maintenance session.

yellowflowers · 09/01/2014 22:59

Not tried it but my osteopath (pm me for details - north London) is a miracle worker in other areas a d reckons he can do an osteopathic face lift.

scripsi · 10/01/2014 00:27

twice a week Caci, that would be great (though I would have to find somewhere closer!).

yellowflowers I would love a PM for your osteopath!
