Can you recommend me a bra to give a good line under clothes?

I wear a (well, I have 3 but they are all the same!) very comfortable old plunge style bra which fits well but I'm not sure it gives me the best shape under clothes-especially thin tops/jumpers.

I went bra shopping recently and going by the recent guidelines on here for wearing the right size, I am a 32E or a 30EE/F, but have always bought a 34DD. If I try on a 32 or a 30, they look bloody awful under clothes and cut me in two with massive sticky out back fat at the back and sides! I'm a size 12, so it shouldn't look like this, should it!?

Soooo, 1. can anyone recommend me a good shape? Plunge is probably good for low cut tops, but what looks nice under jumpers? 2. Does anyone else think that wearing bras that are v tight around, doesn't look very nice!?

You need to SCOOP to deal with the backfat - going up in the band won't solve that one. What do you measure? Wearing bras that aren't tight enough underbust means you won't get sufficient lift or support. Under jumpers I tend to wear a balconette most of the time (or a balcony) - I only really wear plunges when cleavage is required as they don't give as nice a breast shape otherwise imo. I like Cleo unpadded bras like the Maddie for a well lifted, projected shape under non-cleavage tops and jumpers

Scooping: pop your bra on. Stand side on to a mirror, bend forward at the waist and take your right hand and put it inside your left cup. Reach round as far as you can and gently encourage/lightly pull/ok I admit it, haul, all the bulging bits inside the wire. The bits sticking out below the bra band, above it and in your armpits...drag em in. Repeat on other side. You may then need to repeat again just to rebalance a bit.

I'm very very very prone to backfat - it's my bodyshape sadly - but wearing a too big bra makes it worse not better.
