None bridesmaidy bridesmaid dress help please!

My lovely friend has asked me to be her bridesmaid. I'm really touched as it's only a small wedding (20 guests) and I'll be the only one. There is a big reception in the evening with lots of guests.

I've been told I'm allowed to pick my own dress with a budget of up to £100. The colors are black, white or red. But both me and my df would prefer red. My friend has a beautiful but very simple style. Her dress is white, just above the knee with embellishment on the back. It is loose fitting which really suits her figure.

I am 5ft 3, size 14-16 (I've attached a ok where I'm the one in the middle) with massive norks and hips and a smaller waist. I suit more fitted things. Below are links to the kind of dress I like. However, I'm worried that the colour and style would make me more noticeable than the bride. I know she wouldn't care in the slightest about that as long as I looked nice and felt comfortable but I wouldn't feel comfortable looking as if I'd tried to upstage her.

Is lovely whitershade, but its too similar to the brides dress, which is gorgeous by the way. I think you need a straight dress.

Thanks for all your help. I haven't been to that many weddings let alone been a bridesmaid so I'm a bit unsure about the whole thing. My friend is fab but is very happy to just sit back and let me choose so I want to get it right.

They're really nice tether but not sure if they're too far the other way and not fancy enough. i know some of the guests coming to the eveing and they will be wearing more fancy dresses.

The Issa on'e lovely but too over budget. The Pearl Lowe one I couldn't wear a bra with so that's out. I cam't open to other link at work.

This is beautiful in real life and it even better than on the model IMO. It's a lovely shade of deep coral and very flattering.

Do check it, it really is a beautiful dress, so very elegant and the shape would be very flattering on you. I also think you need something very elegant and simple if the bride is simple too. In real life the colour is very vibrant.
