Bra experts! Size advice and any styles to recommend for online shop?

Hello, having spent the wee hours reading many bra threads my head is swimming.

After 5.5 years of breastfeeding and living in Anita underwireds I need some decent bras, but due to work and childcare I need to buy and try online.

I am just shy of 30 round the band and 37.5 around the bust bent over. Fairly shallow after all that booby and fuller on the bottom. Am a size 6-8 (thanks to the booby) now.

Are there any styles that would be good to try in a few sizes? I’ve heard the Cleo Juna is good? What about molded T-shirt ones? Ones for running?

Thank you in advance!

Others will be along to advise on normal bras. For molded ones, I personally like Fantasie Rebecca a lot - the molding is not stiff and bulky, but soft and light. Fantasie is not for everybpdy though, it seems that people often like either taht or panache, but not both.

For running, try Shock Absorber Run bra and Freya Active Underwired. Shock absorber runs small in the back, so I would try around 32E/F. I would try Freya in 30F/FF - it will be tight when you first put it on, but will stretch enough so you will be able to breathe.

Many thanks - that's very helpful. I guess I am a 30F/FF generally?

Oh, and is there a good website you've used? Brastop or somesuch? Thanks again!

Looking forward to sorting myself out. Have been in various dog eared greying scraps (34e-dd) for too long.

Brastop, My Curves and Me, Leia Outlet, Amazon, Figleaves and eBay are all sources for bargain bras.

Moulded bras are usually quite difficult to fit especially if you've lost fullness at the top of the breast as they don't mould to your shape.

Balconette shapes should work well for you and the Cleo Juna is worth a try. As HazleNutt says above, most people seem to get on with the Fantasie/Freya brand or the Panache/Cleo brand!

The Freya Active underwired is my favourite sports bra and it does run small in the band.

Debenhams Gorgeous range has good, cheap balconette bras (often sold with free matching pants) but they tend to run about a size small in the band (and often small in the cup too).

Great - thank you - I shall try 30f/FF in Cleo first and report back!

I really appreciate your campaign!
