Please suggest a full make up brush set

As the subject says really, I don't have a huge budget, and they will be used for myself, for everyday use, but there's nothing worse than shedding brushes. Names don't matter to me, I just want to start learning how to apply make up properly and with more precision.

Eco Tools do a really good beginners set for a reasonable price! Good quality too.

I would like them for foundation, contouring, eyes, lining, abit of brows but not overly for them as I like to get them dyed, and being fair I feel over done with filling them in.

I don't know what they're like now but I've got some really ancient BodyShop ones that are still going strong.

I bought DD a set of Barbara Daly brushes that she says are good (BD used to do the make-up with Body Shop years ago)

I have a Superdrug lipbrush that moults
And I bought a Boots lipbrush today so not used it yet.

You might find a set that has a load of brushes you wouldn't use though.

I'd say a few eyeshadow brushes are needed
A blusher brush
Powder
Foundation brush possibly (they tend to be synthetic so they don't absorb it all)
I can't find an eyeliner brush thin enough for me so I bought some good quality art brushes

Eyebrow brush is on the pencil
Eyelash comb (the best one I found is an old Mr Mascara one)
Eyelash curlers (BodyShop but I'm coveting Shu uemera)

I have a pink sponge thing for foundation that was a steal from tk maxx, after seeing them raved about on YouTube!
I have a BD one for my eyeshadow, but it's abit used... My single brush for the last 6 years :/
Main thing is I want a tidy set, to match (I'm abit anal like that) a liner one, contouring, small blusher, angled, blender... Lips I tend to line with a natural coloured liner, and then use a slight browny/pink on top to match my highlights and because I like dramatic eyes, I don't go too mad there.

Yes real techniques- no moulting and good quality. I have the eye brush set (about £15 from amazon) and a blusher and powder brush. Use them every day.

Another vote for real techniques, I have the powder brush, stippling brush and expert fave brush which are excellent. I have ecotools too but these are miles better.

Not tried any of their eye brushes as I have two mac ones which suit my needs. Can't remember the numbers but they are a slanted one and a blending one.

Mac 217 is the blending one. The best brush you'll ever have.

Sorry to hijack can anyone recommend a not too expensive eyeliner brush for using with gel liner?

Real techniques are good as an allround set but please invest in a MAC 217, it's the best blending brush ever and it has totally changed how well applied my eye makeup is and allows me to be much more adventurous.

Theonlyoneiknow visit your nearest art supply shop. The best ever ranges of fine brushes for lining eyes, great quality, & far cheaper than a designated eyeliner brush.

Whiter - I have that brush, what do you do with it?!

Mainly I use it to blend really really well. It seems to fit in my socket line just right so that it adds depth before I always found that the colour went too high and didn't stay just in the crease. I also find it really good for doing a soft wash of colour over the eyelid or blending colors really well when you want a soft smokey eye.

I would suggest looking here for ideas of what you can use it for. I have learnt so much from watching her videos.
