Need a miracle concealer... but fear polyfilla is my only hope

It has come to my attention that six years of sleepless nights and running around after little people has taken it's toll in a very big way. I look wiped/washed out. The biggest problem appears to be the horrible dark circles and thinness under my eyes..... so I need a very decent concealer to hide it all. Any recommendations? I am willing to splash a bit of cash on something which is amazing and which also lasts.

(I am currently using YSL Touche Éclat but it's almost run out, and has not really been up to the job in the last few months).

Ps: If it helps I am 35 and have a fair, almost freckly complexion.
Ta in advance.

Collection 2000 have used it for a few years now, it's fab stuff.

I've bought the Collection 2000 concealer many, many times. Far better than all the expensive concealers I've tried.

Liking the look of the eyeslix too :)

I like the benefit one & also using their highlighters on brow bones & cheekbones helps detract from under eyes too

Going to try the collection 2000 though, at that price, why not :)

Collection 2000 is great and I only really use Clinique/mac so would not have even considered the brand at all.

Hi there, i have a couple of recommendations not listed so far...I really like Touch-Expert Advanced by By Terry for brightening under the eye and then Estée Lauders Disappear Smoothing Creme Concealer.

AntoinetteCosway · 02/01/2014 08:37

The Collection one is fab. So is the newest Nars one-IMO they are very similar.

Just reporting back after buying the Collection 2000 concealer and I can exclusively reveal that, so far, and after one use only, I am very happy! It was quite thick to apply (compared to others I've used) and the dark circles haven't completely disappeared. But, after applying I looked SO much more fresh faced than I have in ages and it beats the YSL one hands down.

And, also, at (almost) the end of the day it appears not to have rubbed off...

Will see if I'm still happy after a few weeks, as the real clincher for me will be how long it lasts. But so far, so good!

Thank you to all those who recommended it.

Agh. I forgot to look for it, and am now on a January spending ban (from today!).

Philoslothy · 03/01/2014 19:28

If by YSL you mean touché éclat , it is not designed to cover dark circles , it is a highlighter not a concealer .

I use touché éclat, but not to cover circles , just to add lightness.

smilerc · 03/01/2014 19:36

I'm afraid I didn't like the collection one. It was too thick and massively caked under my eyes. I've tried applying it different ways too hit have given up.

I have very dark circles and use the eyeslix (although don't notice any difference) then Bobbi Brown corrector which helps and then a concealer or highlighter over the top. I am on the search for a holy grail under eye concealer but not found one that does the job yet. I am currently using mac mineralised concealer which is quite good.

permaquandry · 03/01/2014 21:28

Without a shadow (geddit?) of a doubt, Soap and Glory, Trick and . Treatment, covers my very dark circles better than any other I've tried, not cakey or drying at all and highlights too. Really pleased with it.
