Tod's loafers - best, most comfortable flats & why

I am evangelical about these, even tho at first I thought they were a bit showy offy riche, and wish to share why.

You know how some styles don't change for decades like the Burberry trench and one wonders what the fuss is about - until you get said item? Well, rock on the Italian leather 50s driving shoe called the Gommino.

I suffer with infuriatingly sore feet, and these are the biz. They are soft, more comfortable than bare feet, and look smart - the combo one needs. The cut lengthens your leg, which is more than you can say for ballet pumps. You look dressed in them, which considering they feel like slippers is saying something.

Plus the logos are pretty non-existent so you don't look like a twat, and you can get them cheap on ebay or TK Maxx. And they last for years, probably a decade. Yum.

Sandwich board down, off to try my new matt black suede driving shoes with the hidden comfort sole. Lovely soft leather and leather lined, to boot.
